In my Skill Center class, I had to draw this animal thing. The reason I gave it horns is because some chameleons have horns. I was thinking about giving him a moonbase or something. This is supposed to have a backstory, and I decided to say that long ago a race of immortal space gods visited Earth and created this ape lizard.... Now can someone help me with the story from there? Should he be like a super evolved ape thing or something? I kinda have a psychedelic Jack Kirby space thing in mind. I'm also supposed to give him powers.... But I want them to be the most outlandish superpowers ever. Any suggestions?

He has the power of invisibility. However it doesn't work if you look at him.

That's weird, I was thinking the exact same thing as one of his powers. Even with the twist you put on it (Invisible Boy from Mystery Men). His other powers were levitation, regenerating his tail, shooting electrical beams from his horns, and an indestructible brow. And he had Doop-like powers as well. But that was at a different stage in his creation. I scrapped those ideas.

Hm.... I guess I'd start by asking more specifically what the criteria and objectives for the assignment are. And what's a Skill Center class?

He has sort of a Buddha thing going on, and if he's an ancient creature created millions of years ago, he could totally be a modern guru. LA's newest spiritual guide celebrity, perhaps?

You mentioned that you gave him the horns because some chameleons have horns. Did you want his power set to reflect a chameleon then?

Either way, it looks more like the gods got drunk and decided to have a good time gene-splicing. :D

There's not really a criteria for the assignment. Skill Center is like an extracurricular place where high school students from the county go to learn more about the field they want to go into (i.e., art).

I don't really want his powers to reflect his appearance. I suppose turning invisible would be like blending in like a chameleon does, though. But I like the modern guru idea. Thanks.:D

Maybe he's a cultural chameleon? A consumption beast? A lazy old git who can absorb the media he absorbs?

are you still working on this?

it didn't always have three heads and four arms did it?

Nah I'm not working on it anymore, at least not in school. I'm still thinking about the story and characters; so far I've got characters named Urethror, Therose, and Putangon. It doesn't really have three heads and four arms, I just wanted to send an artistic message....In other words, I thought it would look cool. And iconic.
