So, my brother Jake designed this product they're calling Pivot Power for the community product development website, Quirky.com (which is definitely worth browsing in general).

All of us are computer people, and most of us have more technological devices than we know what to do with... This is a flexible, adjustable power strip that allows you to use every single outlet regardless of how bulky and unwieldy the plug is, WITHOUT having to deal with an unwieldy power squid which looks like a tangle of cords even BEFORE you plug anything in.

The way quirky works is that once a product is developed and tested, they make it available, and should the product make the production threshold by having a certain number of people commit to purchasing it, than it will enter production and get made.

So if this is something you're interested in owning, commit to buying one once they're available so these bad boys can start getting produced.

I would have included this in another thread, but I couldn't think of where it would fit exactly.

That's pretty cool. I could use about 3-4 of those actually.

I like the squid-style outlets but they seem to take up a lot of space.

Is this a surge protector as well? That's crucial for me.

I also agree with the comments about the international versions.

What will the final price be, do you know? Depending on that I may pick up a few.
