Ultimate Marvel Timeline / Chronology (v 5.0)

Fury could easily be back in charge after that arc, which is my point. I doubt Flumm will stay as Director for long. It's clear that Spider-Men takes place after Divided We Fall / United We Stand since it refers Prowler's death. There is no significant break that will allow Spider-Men to take place between Prowler's death and Divided We Stand not to mention Fury's presence.

Okay i give in. The preview for Spider-Men issue 4 shows that Gwen and May have already met Miles. There first meeting does happen in the middle of Divided We Fall so yes it does infact look like Spider-Men takes place after DWF

Updating for UCSM #12-13, and Ultimates #13, did a bit of corrections, and altered the UCSM (Vol 2) to UC All-New Spider-Man per dark666105's suggestion. I honestly thought the All-New thing was only going to be temporary and kind of overlooked it in the recent months, but now over a year in with it still being on the cover page it seems a safe bet it'll be a somewhat permanent thing. It also helps better differentiate it from the first USM volume (and its pointless renumbering towards the end).

Also updated the release date schedule.

I think Spider-Men needs to be before Ultimate Spider-Man 13/Divided We Fall. Based on Fury and Tony being at the Triskelion, New York not being a total war zone and the web shooters being really cool in Spider-Men and then being a gift in Ultimate Spider-Man 14. I don't know how or where though.

It still can be after "United We Stand." Fury could come back to S.H.I.E.L.D. after that arc. And I read in a article that Bendis plans on Miles having a hard time figuring out the web formula and being able to aford the ingredents. There could be stories where he still doesn't use the web shooters at times.

Why is Marvel Zombies Destroy! not on the timeline? Is it not canon?

Why is Marvel Zombies Destroy! not on the timeline? Is it not canon?

No, not really. Marvel Zombies Destroy! has no interactions with characters from any of the Ultimate characters or any of the characters from Marvel Zombies that directly had interactions with Ultimate Characters. That is why Marvel Zombies 5 is not included at all as well. No direct interaction with canon characters.

An argument could be made that A.R.M.O.R. is the factor that ties it all together, but what is really the basis in this timeline is canon character interaction.

Marvel Zombies Supreme and Marvel Zombies Christmas Carol are also not included for the same reasons

Exactly as Mattimeo said. No characters that originated in the Ultimate universe or the original Marvel Zombies universe appear (at least as far as I know), so there's no point in including them in the timeline. The only reason Marvel Zombies 3 and 4 were included was because of the MZ universe Deadpool (or more appropriately his head) appearing in those minis.

Updated for:

Ultimate Comics All-New Spider-Man #15
Ultimate Comics X-Men #16
Ultimate Comics The Ultimates #16
Spider-Men #5

Also tentatively added all the remaining Ultimate related books coming out between now and the end of this year. Let me know if you see anything that should be corrected (and yes, I too am a bit perplexed by Spider-Men and its placement in regards to the Divided We Fall and United We Stand arcs).

Thats actually a really good suggestion. I've changed it to reflect that, thanks for the heads up, appreciate the correction! :)

Updated for Ultimate Comics All-New Spider-Man #16, Ultimate Comics X-Men #17, Ultimate Comics Iron Man #1, and Marvel Zombies Halloween #1. Special thanks once again to Mattimeo84 for his invaluable assistance, literally couldn't do it without him.

Ok, OCD time, any reason why some issues are Ultimate Comics <Issue> and others are Ultimate Comics: <Issue>? The : being the item in question?

Also, you switched Ultimate Comics Spider-Man (Miles) to Ultimate Comics All-New Spider-Man as that is what is stated on the cover, yet most of the issues you have listed as Ultimate Comics <Issue> are cover listed as Ultimate <Issue>. Is this just to avoid having to write vol. 1, vol. 2 etc. or is this because that is what is lasted on the Trades/Hardbacks? If this is the case, then their or other question I have.

I just ask because I format my collection software based on your timeline and I am OCD.

There have been 3 basic iterations of the Ultimate universe, as far as I'm concerned, and also as far as Marvel seems to be concerned. Everything from Ultimate Spider-Man #1 through Ultimatum, which are all simply "Ultimate...".

Then the Ultimate Comics (without the ":") were everything between Ultimatum through Fallout.

Now, everything post Fallout is labeled as Ultimate Comics: ...

It's just a way of simply but noticeably differentiating between the three "phases" of the Ultimate universe. Ultimatum was the first effective "reboot", Fallout was the second (kind of).

It's because it's what's listed on the cover, as well as to avoid having to use a Vol. 1, Vol. 2 notation. I tried that originally and didn't like how it looked (it was confusing to the eye as I had both the Vol. # and page numbers enclosed in parentheses. Someone suggested the "All-New" title change (which I thought was a temporary thing used basically as an advertisement as opposed to a permanent change, which now at 16 issues in it seems to be as it's still listed as "All New"). Just another way of differentiating between the different iterations.

USM and UCSM (Peter Parker) and UC:ANSM (Miles) was just a way to help differentiate between the UCSM and UC:ANSM phases.

I just ask because I format my collection software based on your timeline and I am OCD.

I know the feeling (in terms of OCD). It's the main motivation behind keeping up with the timelines I do, with a slight dash of curiosity also thrown in.

Hope my reasoning makes sense, if not let me know. Always open to input or ideas.
