Arrowverse / DC-CW Timeline (v 3.0)

All-Star Team Up is definitely after Suicidal Tendencies, but I'm going through it now and it looks to be after The Fallen since each episode of Arrow between 3x17-3x20 picks up immediately after the last. Will get back after viewing in this order.

Edit: in Arrow 3x19, it seems Ray and Cisco know each other. I guess the solution is to place All Star Team Up as occurring in the same day as Suicidal Tendencies but during daytime between the main events and the last couple minutes.

Edit: Felicity said to Barry that Oliver may be joining the League of Assassins dispite firmly saying no, assuring Felicity that she was right. It would work great after 3x20 if not for 3x19 screwing it up, unless that scene takes place a day/days after the episode, which seems like a stretch.

Edit: forget that, Felicity and Ray break up in 3x20. It must take place during Suicidal Tendencies, but after the main events.

Smallville is definitely going to be in the same multiverse.

"But seflishmisery, didn't Smallville exist on it's own Earth-1 and introduced a totally different Earth-2?"

The Season 11 tie-in comics for Smallville confirmed in-story that those Earth numbers are false assumptions based on the characters' lack of knowledge of the Multiverse. Their actual numbers are unknown as of right now.

"But Smallville's Earth-13 and Earth-37 are destroyed in the Season 11 comics, whereas in the Arrowverse-"

-they were only mentioned in Cisco's tumblr posts. (The multiverse dating one and the Wizard Harrison Wells ones in particular.) I guess those aren't canon now.

Ooof. Just needed to get that out there.

But as for the Smallville crossover, HELL YES!!

If they had Gotham involved it'll be awhile till I sleep again...

Any more surprises, DC/CW/WB?

Batman (?)
Legends of the Superheroes (?)
The Flash
Smallville
Arrow
The Flash
Constantine
Supergirl
DC's Legends of Tomorrow
Black Lightning
Batwoman

Batman: The Movie (?)
Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders (?)
Batman vs. Two-Face (?)
Superman: The Movie: Special Edition
Superman II
Superman Returns
Vixen: The Movie
Freedom Fighters: The Ray

Oh boy, this crossover is huge!

Welling is huge, of course, but it'd be a shame if we didn't see the Smallville Green Arrow too--that was my introduction to the character.

If not, I guess we can just say he went to Earth-90 and got slaughtered. Remember that "cameo"?

Kidding!

If we got Justin Hartley back, assuming he's not too busy, I'd much rather him reprise his role as Aquaman from the unaired Mercy Reef pilot (which WB made available for purchase on YouTube.)

He could even be our Earth-1 Aquaman retroactively, since Mercy Reef was in no way connected to Smallville. o_O

Haha, I'd forgotten about Mercy Reef! That'd work for either Earth-1 or Earth-38, right? I say bring him back and have him play both roles.

Watched the first episode of Smallville today--I had forgotten until about five minutes in that I'd never actually seen it. I must have come in on episode 2 or 3. That show packs quite a nostalgic wallop--seeing the characters come back is going to be even better than I realized.

Because I'd never seen it, I also never knew that almost the first shot is Lionel Luther holding a newspaper with the headline "Queen CEO Goes Missing". They were setting Green Arrow up from day 1....

They actually tie-in to that in the Green Arrow prequel mini series to Smallville. Nice that it payed off, also cool how Clark and Oliver's timelines align.

Only the first 3 episodes are canon though because of a flashback that can't be reconciled.

Still not too late for some kind of reference--seems like they're open to anything. If they have some kind of hypertime-tunnel with clips from all the shows/movies, we'll be watching DC stuff till the end of time, lol.

Krypton was almost in the multiverse.

"Couldn't make the dates work"

That could have some double meaning. The show taking place 200 or so years in the past would require time travel AND universe hopping, which would make for messy storytelling to explain.

I see that Birds of Prey has been added to Crisis, after years of teased DC show connections (I recall a reference to New Gotham on the Smallville Ledger site back in the day, and I think some footage even ended up in an Arrowverse promo video, of all things.) I held off on watching it back then to see if it ever crossed over with Smallville (in hindsight, this wouldn't have worked too well with either continuity) so I guess now's the time, lol. Think I'll go ahead and throw it in with Smallville Season 2 in the rewatch.

Theres a reference to meteors causing meta humans in the pilot, strangely. Pahaps it was intended to take place in the future of the Smallville universe, where the Justice League was established. I guess Season 11 makes that impossible now.

In any case, I'm going with this as a viewing order.
Smallville Legends: Kara and the Chronicles of Krypton 1x01-1x06

Quite nostalgic.

My head is spinning with all these previous shows and movies being added to the Arrowverse multiverse through COIE. Should I hold off on doing a watch of the entire Arrowverse until Crisis has aired? I wanted to start next week with the season premieres beginning soon, but everything is such a muddle right now I'm afraid of forgetting something.
Probably should wait. Depends on how much of a completionist you are.

I guess The Flash, Superman Returns, Smallville and Birds of Prey are the only confirmed additions, with Batman (1966) being a likely inclusion.

I was on Year 4 of the Arrowverse when Smallville was added, now I have to catch up on that show and Birds of Prey until I can continue from where I left off.

October 6
Batwoman
Supergirl

October 7
Black Lightning (Arrow-adjacent)

October 8
The Flash

October 15
Arrow

January 28
