Non-Arrowverse DC TV Show Timelines

Would be interesting fitting the Pennyworth comic in if that happens. Two-Face is mentioned in the comic, yet Bruce is alive.

Perhaps that particular thought bubble is retconed, lol. Or maybe there's lots of people running around calling themselves Two-Face. You never know, lol! Also the whole "Harvey had surgery" thing is possible. This, of course, would show his second descent into villainy.

Eh, it'd be worked around either way.

Tell me I'm wrong... Tell me that isn't Sean Pertwee isn't at Bruce Wayne's funeral.

And if David Ramsey really said that the CW are making a Superverse with Superman & Lois, Gotham Knights and Justice U, then yeah. That's quite expansive. It would even explain why Renee Montoya looks the same in Batwoman, because Earth-S&L and Earth-Prime have many identical doppelgängers.

I have some thoughts on the whole "Superverse" buzz but I will wait until we get farther into S&L s3.

If this does end up in Gotham/Pennyworth's very standalone 'bubble continuity', I'm very curious how fans will react. I still think people aren't giving GK a fair chance tbh. I've seen nothing but praise from cast, crew and extras who've worked on it.

But hey, these same detractors/zoomers love stoner BS like Rick & Morty so lmao.
I think the trailer wasn't as good as the new teaser tbh. Also, I think there's an association with the other CW shows, so they probably hate it for that as well. You'd think they'd have learned by now that not all CW shows automatically suck, but you know what people are like.

I think if it does end up being part of Gotham canon, I imagine that Bruce's death would probably feel worse for some fans. They might even be angry that this "tainted" Gotham. I do think they'd change their tune if they started utilising the Gotham cast though. Even if it ends up not being in Gotham continuity somehow, it looks like it's taking inspiration - that city shot is not a coincidence. I considered that "Alfred" might be Harvey because the clothing matches, but then the hair is too short and the lighting surely wouldn't look gray. His features match perfectly. It's just... hard to believe even then. I have to doubt it even if everything points to it being him. Also, the Court of Owls seem to be involved based on that Talon, so either a new continuity or the highest surviving rank took over leadership.

Looking at the writers' twitter, they're clearly very passionate about this show. I think that it genuinely looks better than people give it credit for, but I understand why some are frustrated by it. They're probably sick of the "this hero is dead/missing" trope.

Misha Collins as Two-Face is good enough for me.

Some castings are behind held very close to the vest, btw.

A funeral priest/pastor? I saw that set photo you linked one time in color and it looks like the man is holding a cross necklace.
Then again, Alfred is Catholic in the comics. Live-Action or this universe tho? No clue.

Case in point, a scene from Pennyworth S1 (NSFW):

Maybe. Priests would usually have a model cross or the bible though, not a cross neckless (could be wrong). I guess we'll see though. :p
