Animated injustice or game injustice?
The game. It IS part of the comic multiverse.

BTW I'm taking about the Earth where the events of the game didn't occur but it is adjacent to its story.

The other Earth (the main one, the "Evil Earth") is Earth-49 in the New 52's Multiverse, right? Or is the conection with the Comic Multiverse only recent (Post Dark Crisis) and Earth-49 is considered a variant like Earth-12?

Anyone interested in seeing a timeline for the Forbidden Siren series once I'm done with the Silent Hill and Hotline Miami timelines? I won't lie, the series is pretty complicated timeline-wise since it plays out in non-linear fashion, and the third game is somewhat of a reimagining of the first game (doesn't mean that it can't be added to the timeline, since I think there's enough changes to make it work), but I think I can make it work?

Either way, wish me luck.

The comics explicitly set it in the same continuity as the original three films, so there's that.

Fury Road is not a reboot, they just tried to softly retcon the apocalypse to be post-2015. It can still take place in the past though, the evidence for post-2015 isn't that heavy.

It would be incredibly redundant to say it's a separate universe when at most it's just a retcon to the setting. The years are barely visible in the film to begin with.

People need to stop saying this series has no solid chronology because it's actually very tight. Max's injuries from the original films all carry over into the next, the apocalypse slowly gets worse over time, and both BTS and the comics directly establish a linear timeline. The films are all in direct continuity and we're seeing the real events happen, it's just that the events become legends many years later.

Don't forget about PlayStation All-Stars and Mortal Kombat (2011). PlayStation All-Stars is referenced in Ragnarok (I believe), and Mortal Kombat is apparently canon but I forgot where.

That's confusing, course there Isn't a reference to both of them. It's a reference that CAN WORK FOR BOTH of them. But I would take all-stars as Canon since it's plot take Place between God of War II and III.

He said he was in a few tournaments, possibly hinting to Soulcalibur too. By the way, I meant specifically Krato's ending in Mortal Kombat is canon of course.

If we assume that fighting game guest characters are canon then everything is connected

Honestly it was just an excuse to share that double reference. Also a Raiden and Spawn interaction references a "dark night" that the two of them know.

I think God of War is specific and intentional compared to those. It seems clear that they consider crossover appearances as canon, as they mentioned that Kratos was in many tournaments, plus Shovel Knight too. Fortnite is the exception but only because there's literally no connections beyond a skin.

Krato's MK story is self-contained and fits in without a problem. As I said, only Krato's story and ending would be canon, which is not part of the main Mortal Kombat timeline.
