Could anyone read the date in braille on Foggy's memorial card? lol.

It did feel like the show went out of its way to not specify the year. I mean sure we can figure it out but when you have events like elections and New Years (events known to plaster the year everywhere) it would have been nice. Overall, I really enjoyed the first 2 episodes. It really felt like something new while still honoring what had come before.

Fisk would have been elected in November so some of the episode is during that. Plus the scenes before he wins would be before. I guess we have to assume that like BNW the New York Mayoral Election doesn't match our world. Fisk gets sworn in as the 112th mayor while the current real-life mayor is the 110th.

Just finished both eps of DD:BA and even though i still haven't watched the OG Netflix shows apart from Jessica jones and the defenders (I know, Blasphemy!!!) i thoroughly enjoyed it, i got a few references like Hogarth's law firm and the Ben Urich, Spider-Man and punisher mentions.

Here is a pretty good idea of when these take place in the timeline:

Werewolf by Night = 31st Oct to 1st Nov 2025
DD: BA Ep1 Prologue (Foggy's Death) = Early Nov 2025?

The NY mayor election in MCU is different of the real life or got changed like US presidential election because of Blip, so Fisk saw a preview of the upcoming 2026's mayor election in May 2025, then late 2025, after She-Hulk, in November 2025, Foggy dies, then in Early 2026 to October 2026 (one month before US presidential election, which occurs in November 3, 2026, the election that Ross win), main events of 1x1, then Dec 31, 2026 to Jan 1-3, 2027, 1x2 events. I think will be this case, because in D+ timeline, DD: BA is after Agatha, so is in 2027, which occur the main events of S1.

i can definitely see where the confusion comes from, as initially i definitely thought that fisk ran in 2025 due to the end credits scene of echo implying the election was that year, and it would explain why he and karen were not together during she-hulk, but i did forget about the fact that he is no longer daredevil after foggy dies so it must be after she-hulk, plus matt says he and karen almost broke the "friend rule", so they must not be together during she-hulk anyway, also i dont think hed be out representing peter parker just after his best friend was murdered; guess thanos really did a favor for some of these politicians lmao
