I am watching right now Cloak & Dagger season 1 as a part of my MCU chronological rewatch and there's a Thursday, October 5 date on Tyrone's phone 16 minutes into episode 8. It's a mistake right?

I kinda don't want the Thunderbolts' 14 year time jump to be in 2029 because if the X-Men universe is in any concurrent with the main timeline, Xavier's catastrophic seizure happens in 2028 according to Logan.

For the sake of argument, let's say that's December 2028. You can't go later than that.

Matt says "Fisk won" which wouldn't be specific if there's two elections going that night. I know they did it their way searching official documents about recall election but that date just doesn't make sense in case of larger MCU.

I wish Secret Invasion is not canon. It was such a disappointment and it created many timeline issues. The whole Ross winning during the show is so weird and no one ever mentioned the events of SI (maybe except Skrull reference in Born Again. Vaara is talking about Kree-Skrull peace talks in the finale and like a week later in The Marvels nothing is said about it.
It would've been so much easier if Secret Invasion was in November 2025. I mean it could be because no one ever mentioned exactly how many years have passed between Fury's disappearance in Endgame and his comeback in SI but of course Disney and Marvel knows better.
It would've been easier for more reasons for example Kamala's age being the same in both Ms. Marvel and The Marvels if we still keep The Marvels close to Secret Invasion.
Also Ross' election win being one year later after WW3 threat. The people needed someone with military experience and that's why they voted for Ross.

honestly agreed, 2025 makes so much more sense with all the evidence laid out except for that kamala knows about cassie lang, but she could still be referencing her before she became stature

They mention how Endgame was a "few" years ago which to me fits 2026 better than 2025. I don't see anything wrong with Secret Invasion or The Marvels in 2026. It's easy to believe that once the bombing happens people move on from the election and with Ritson still being the active president we follow him and he's the target over Ross. Is it weird ? Sure. But I think it's more Marvel not caring to connect projects that should, even if they're close on the timeline. Moving Secret Invasion and The Marvels to 2025 doesn't change how jarring it is that Fury's more "bubbly" like a week after Secret Invasion and even in a movie that features Skrulls and Captain Marvel, makes no mention of the events from the show.

Also, if it were, and if it were destroyed pre-Logan, then wouldn't that confirm that the universe we see in Doomsday and Secret Wars is not Earth-17315? (Technically meaning that the X-Men universe is both destroyed and perfectly fine due to a branched reality that includes the events of more films).

Lemme put it this way: after Secret Wars (2015) a lot of what got directly destroyed by Incursions that didn't come back. At least not remotely the same way.

2099's Earth got renumbered as did the Ultimate one. Their histories got completely altered too.
