Pixar Theory Timeline (headcanon)

That short is essentially the creation of the universe, with each entity representing Day and Night (though they switch between it - like The One Above All and The One Below All being the same person, but two separate personifications). Since they clearly just met, I'm assuming it's the first day/night, with the ending being the first sunrise/sunset and the creation of the Pixar universe.

As for the human references, fate is already established in Brave, and Monsters Inc. has time travel, so I'd say we can assume it's a window into the future, or a personification of humanity, one of the 3 leading forces in the Pixar Theory's overarching story.
This may seem convoluted, but I prefer an explanation as to why something fits into the Pixar Theory, not just assuming it exists in it, which is why I haven't just put it in the contemporary era

Since Planes takes place after Mater tells a Tall Tale, but released after most of the Cars shorts, I'm putting it where it would be, relative to release dates, like the shorts. I feel like there's a flashback at some point in the franchise, I have no idea how I'm going to place it with no date references
Yup, there's a flashback. Guess I gotta hope it's based off a real event. Searching now…

Well, Skipper's an F4U Corsair, a WWII fighter plane, so since Skipper says he trained this whole crew I'm assuming he was already drafted into WWII for a good while, so I'm placing it at 194X (relative to Cars) after the Private Eye Mater Tall Tale.

Just finished watching Planes, and I'm pretty sure the epilogue happens after Planes 2
Perfect - no indication of when it happens, just that it does happen… I love the Cars franchise but any flashbacks will be horrible for continuity

Will you include Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command as in-universe media? I think they can totally still exist in-universe despite making no sense story wise with Lightyear

If they're ads probably, yeah, as in-universe content. I'll also be going over the "real world" basing it off Alex Bale's Pixar Metaverse Theory, so I'll add ads there as in-universe media (if it doesn't fit in the main timeline) and a LEGO timeline including the Incredibles video game and Bricktoons, if anyone's wondering

I'm going to assume the sitcom Blade was in is set in the Cars '70s, since that's when police procedural sitcoms were in their prime

I'm moving Planes and Planes 2 to right after Air Mater, since once Mater alters the timeline Skipper's prepared to train anyone, so before the Planes epilogue. This means Mater visits Skipper during the time Dusty was training to be a firefighter, and happened after Mater's alteration of the timeline

If I'm doing a LEGO one, I might as well do an As Told By Emoji one…
