Just jump in. You won't miss anything by not watching Alien: Covenant, AFAIK.Would people say I should watch the other Alien movies, then Alien Earth, or would it be okay to just jump straight in?

I kinda like both The Predator and Alien: Covenant, though lesser to the other films.Too bad the film was absolute dogshite that almost killed the franchise like what The Predator almost did to the Predator franchise.
I think they mean Alien -> Resurrection, and they're doing chronological.Just jump in. You won't miss anything by not watching Alien: Covenant, AFAIK.
They both have good moments but pale in comparison to other entries in their respective series.I kinda like both The Predator and Alien: Covenant, though lesser to the other films.
I think a lot of purists just don't like the two franchises mixing. Personally I love it...lolThe next film should explain why people got so confused, I think.
I'll have to dig back and grab them for future reference. Thanks!I've started to link them.
Ah, rightyI think they mean Alien -> Resurrection, and they're doing chronological.
I don't hate a single film in this universe, but here's my personal ranking. It's harder to list than you'd think for me. Assume the special edition for every film, though I slightly prefer the theatrical Alien.I kinda like both The Predator and Alien: Covenant, though lesser to the other films.
See? It's all canon."We [Hawley, Trachtenberg, and Álvarez] talk to the degree that we're trying to avoid duplication of story or inadvertent mimicry," Hawley said, "But in general, they're not all coordinated. What I've suggested, since there's a surprising paucity of mythology in the seven films, other than that there's a company called Weyland-Yutani... I've said, 'Well, you know, so if this show is a prequel to the movies, and I've made some choices about how humanity is organized: it might be helpful if you adopt those [choices] should the issue come up in your films,' Right? But otherwise, we're not really coordinating with each other."
Okay, quick question, but...So, I don't know if anyone has read Predator Kills the Marvel Universe yet, but:
1. It's set one year after Predator vs. Spider-Man.
2. Dead Guardians of the Galaxy.
3. Dead Fantastic Four.
Okay, quick question, but...
is it a single Predator or a Clan of Predators?
Asking this again, since I never got an answer about the movies that happen afterwardsWould people say I should watch the other Alien movies, then Alien Earth, or would it be okay to just jump straight in?
No, it's fine. You can watch it without having seen Alien 1-4. It's a mostly unconnected prequel. A parallel story, really.Asking this again, since I never got an answer about the movies that happen afterwards
I also didn't get any response for this, is there a reason for including it twice (I presume it's just an error, but you never know)Aliens: Criminal Enterprise is on the timeline twice. Would this need to be corrected, or is it a multiple stories thing?
This is just a link to a Covenant trailer, not PhobosPhobos (Link)
Yeah, the full Phobos short is 9 minutes long. This is just a link to a Covenant trailer, not Phobos
Lots of people watched it and decided David created the xenomorphs so they couldn't possibly have existed in the past during the AvP movies. Those people also ignore how old the ship in Alien is...Watched Covenant last night and I don't see how it contradicts AVP at all…
I guess that makes sense… it's blatantly wrong once you put any amount of consideration into it, but still, it kinda makes senseLots of people watched it and decided David created the xenomorphs so they couldn't possibly have existed in the past during the AvP movies. Yep. I think the novelization even clarified it as a new type of xenomorph that he created. But even in Prometheus there images of xenos in the room where they find the black goo vases.I guess that makes sense… it's blatantly wrong once you put any amount of consideration into it, but still, it kinda makes sense
