Fair enough, though considering that last we heard of Wey-Yu was Walmart buying them out, it begs the question of how they came back from that.

And that's even assuming it's post Alien Resurrection. For all we know, it could be between 3 and Resurrection, but maybe once the tie-in comic comes out, we'll get some answers on potential placements.

seeing badlands tomorrow but wasnt part of resurrection that wey-yu still operated in secret even after the collapse of the megacorp?

was there anything you noticed possibly tying it to killer of killers, maybe indicating how long has passed since then to give us more of a proper placement for that?

The official statement places it after Alien: Resurrection, and Weyland-Yutani came back afterwards, per the expanded universe (which this director has openly acknowledged).
