I do like the placement for the movie though. Seems like the best place, let's the established EU have a chance to continue to exist. Lots of later EU stories from the short story collections imply that people know the Predators are out there so it kinda works

On a different note ...the various Alien based fan pages on Facebook are full of conflict about who created the xenomorphs and if Alien Earth is canon to Prometheus and Covenant...lol
