The first Cosmic Quest book, which came out before Infinity War, mentioned that Thanos already had the power stone. That's another example of a book referencing the movie before it's come out.
Assuming she gets the nickname Scarlet Witch at the end of WandaVision, I feel like that's a pretty big coincidence if it just happened to be the same as a quirky nickname someone had given her years before.
I was rereading The Cosmic Quest Volume 2: Aftermath, and I noticed at one point someone refers to Wanda as "Scarlet Witch". This doesn't work with the timeline, given that WandaVision made it very clear that Wanda hasn't been given that name yet. That, along with the fact that Selvig is shown...
Yeah Disney Plus seems to define "MCU" as "Marvel Studios", which I think is fine. The shows aren't "essential viewing" for the overall MCU story. Even if they end up including characters from the shows in the movies, I'm sure it will be done in such a way that the audience doesn't need to go...
I remember a while ago I was inspecting the dates on the newspapers throughout the movie, and I believe I found that all of them read the same date of October 21.
I just finished reading Queen's Peril, and I noticed it's not on the timeline. It takes place before and during Episode I, but it has an epilogue told from Leia's perspective at the award ceremony from the end of Episode IV. So I would add it to the timeline after A New Hope in order to avoid...
So the way Deke explained time travel in AOS 7x01 made me rethink how alternate timelines work in the MCU. Basically what it sounded like he was saying is that you can make small changes to the past and it won't branch off into a new timeline, but if you make a big enough change it will create a...
I would say to stick with the writers' comments. Not everything in the script is necessarily canon, since it didn't all make it to the screen. For example, the script also says Jane was killed in the snap despite her being alive in The Cosmic Quest Volume 2.
That's why I'm saying they could just semi-reboot the series by making Batman Forever and Batman & Robin non-canon. But you're probably right, they'll probably make them seperate universes.
The Joker in the comics is notorious for defying death. Or it could be a different Joker. Birds of Prey was definitely inspired by the Burtonverse, and I feel like they're too similar to make them separate.
