I definitely need to rewatch it but I think they change too much for it to be the original timeline. Their original ancestors just don’t exist. We’re probably thinking about it harder than the writers did but I treat it similar to Days of Future Past with it branching off.

No problem :D its given me a push to get back into it. I've really been loving rewatching Season 3, the show gets wayyy too much hate when they fully intended to make it crazy. S3 and 6-7 are the most unhinged and easily the best. Season 1 being a generic teen murder mystery is so dull to revisit 😭.

This is probably far from perfect but I'm sure you know what it's like with the different angles/perspectives of the same scene so there might be a bit of jumping back to a moment you've seen before but it should save you from watching like ten seconds then switching.
