DC Extended Universe / DC Universe - Timeline

I think now would be the perfect time to release the Ayer Cut. I really, really, really want to see this movie, it would be the perfect move to end the DCEU, not with the Aquaman Fire Comic, but with a Director's Cut everyone wants. Plus, it would make the Timeline easier when you consider the Knightmare Future as the outcome of Josstice League

Well, because Suicide Squad is post BvS, and BvS is where the timeline according to the theory, splits. In the Knightmare Universe, Batman is never visited by Knightmare Barry, while in the Main DCEU, he is. Suicide Squad would fit in the Knightmare Universe, while the Ayer Cut would lead into the Snyder Cut and fix that gap. But for now, the Theatrical Cut is canon to the Main Universe, and we haven't seen the Knightmare Universe Version of the Events yet. Or we have, and have never seen the Main DCEU Events, depending on your standpoint

Let's just subtract the legitimately-inferior Whedon version from the equation and this becomes less-convoluted.
The more hypotheticals added that 'explain away' stuff that doesn't fit, the more unlikely the connection is.

Example: I once thought there was one "real world" Earth in the DC Multiverse.
Until I found out V for Vendetta's world goes to sh1t in 2015, while the world is fine 2016 onwards in Lucifer or Naomi.
That iZombie can't be in this hypothetic "real world" Earth because Ella says "zombies aren't real" in season 5 or 6 of Lucifer.
(You can't put that as something between different Crisis changes because these were never intended to be beyond their standalone status or connected to each other, despite the "real world" setting.)

This is why Marvel keeps their multiverse expansive beyond similarities. LITTLE details like that break canon a thousand fold.
There are very rare exceptions with gaping continuity errors like the X-Men Movie Universe or Earth-12041 where Hulk's origin is recounted in 3 different ways, but at least stuff exists there to work around those niche details.

You can't work around things like this and say it's the same world:
(set in the 2010s)

(set in the 2020s)

Not even comparable to one small chunk of London bombed in Pennyworth's finale because in the aforementioned GI Joe London, it's *ATOMIZED* beyond repair.

TL;DR - For franchises across the board, connected or not, don't overthink for hypotheticals in niche concepts that aren't apparent in existing canon.

(Yes I have taken speech and writing classes in college, and on a good day I can word myself properly to reflect that. Not to brag.)

Could you elaborate?
pre snyder cut timeline with all releases preceding his cut of JL leads into the knightmare timeline, flash shenanigans combined with the mother boxes awareness as shown by Cyborg results in the alternate events of his jl and the timeline continues on into the rest of the dceu preceding the new gunnverse

I think the Peacemaker ending is a diverged version of the current Mortal Kombat timeline, as with all endings in those games. So, something like this.

2024
????
Mortal Kombat 1 Peacemaker Ending [Mortal Kombat 1: Peacemaker Timeline]

As for the Omniverse, everything. Every story ever told is part of the Omniverse.

I know that the Current Timeline is a rebooted from the alternate Timeline, but the reboot is still canon, kinda like X-Men Future's Past, so a reboot that was explained in-universe. Is there a similiar explanation between Original and Alternate, or are they just seperate?
