So there is a new Marvel NOW Punisher book written by Nathan Edmondson (whom I had not heard of before reading this #1 but apparently we've discussed him here because a tag for his name already exists).
It is...different. Frank is actually kind of a friendly guy; he spends time in a local diner...
I just read #12 and went to comment on it and couldn't find the thread. I thought we had one.
Anyone else reading this? Thoughts? It's pretty good even though I like Punisher MAX better. A "tame" Punisher book just feels kind of wrong after reading the MAX version.
Also, taking on a sidekick...
Apparently Fox plans on showing a Punisher TV show on its network:

The first issue was a very quick read but I think it has a lot of potential. I have a feeling that the MAX version of Wilson Fisk is going to be a very interesting character indeed...
Billy Tan to draw the event.
The only thing that's known:
"...he [Billy Tan] will be working on an event called “The Shadowland,” which Tan said will involve the street-level characters in the Marvel Universe. That event is scheduled for 2010."
No writers have been revealed...

I picked up volume 4 of this series. "Up Is Down & Black Is White." (#19-24)
This is the singlest nastiest, most disturbing, grossest thing I've ever seen. But I loved it. In it, it had a guy piss all over Frank's families body, murder his family when he was little, have sex with his fat aunt...
