I love the fact that they're not just ignoring the Elseworlds films but also helping to develop each other's universes, gives hope for a possible multiversal crossover at some point

Honestly, with all of this debate about whether Blue Beetle and/or TLK take place in which timeline, for a while my point of view has been that, if they take place in the same universe (because I believe Blue Beetle takes place in it's own universe which would merge with the main DCEU into the DCU even if it is not 100% official) it would be the DCEU, either if they happen before or after The Flash. I mean, if James Gunn by any reason says that they are set post-Flashpoint I would obviously listen to him, but that is probably not going to happen along with any possible answer to this debate since a new franchise is beginning and it won't matter to them anymore. A part of why I think of this being the truth is because the fate of DCEU's Earth-1 hasn't been confirmed to this day, so I think that Barry just created a branch timeline which merged with another universe simply because that is how time travel worked in that universe, Earth-1 would continue to exist and The Lost Kingdom would continue to happen in here if after The Flash (and possibly Blue Beetle too, but because of declarations by Gunn and the director it seems to take place in it's own universe. That doesn't change that, in either case it takes place before or after, I would watch Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom before The Flash in a viewing order. Thoughts?

Well, while I actually enjoyed the original release so much and know that this new version would have a better quality, we as fans have to accept that we are not the studios that produce the films we love and we cannot control what they do (also, the universe is already over and if Gunn wants his DCU to work he has to state firmly that the DCEU is over

As I've said earlier to friends on a Discord server, I don't believe this one bit, especially from one of the news site that was on the forefront of the whole "MCU Netflix/ABC/Freeform shows aren't canon". After all, James Gunn told Ayer that his cut would eventually get a chance, so I doubt this is true.

I dream of seeing the complete timeline of the DC Universe, with all the names of the lands and branches that have enriched this incredible multiverse. What a joy to discover the list of studios that have marked the history of comics: Paradox Press, Wildstorm, Will Eisner Library and Vertigo. What a shame they all disappeared or were shut down by DC. I would love to reread their masterpieces.

Sorry to bring that back up, but I need ultimate clarification. What is set on Earth-1 and what is set on the Post-Flashpoint Timeline? Can someone pleaswe answer?
