If a Sgt. Rock movie gets made, it might cover post-WWII.

You also see Don Knott's Barney Fife character in the Hulk and the Agents of SMASH episode with Deathlok. The DCU has its own variant of Shaggy Rogers

"OMG Godzilla movies are in the Nicktoons multiverse which is technically Marvel's cause Ren & Stimpy comics are Earth-92157-"
Don't connect dots were dots can't be connected.
Yup but thats a whole comic run, not a 10 second cameo.Well, technically a version of Godzilla is canon to Marvel's Earth-616
We’ll see.Do you plan on adding The Suicide Squad to the DC Universe timeline? I know the events were mentioned in one of the episodes.. so I am curious about your reasoning if its a no
And what about Peacemaker? Pretty sure Gunn said everything but the Justice League stuff is canon (which just seems like a lousy excuse to keep his stuff canon but whatevs)
Its just a season and a movie's events happened almost the same but not 100%.fair enough! I just loveee that an entire new universe has a rocky canonicity to begin with
I don't think it's crazy that Godzilla might exist in the Nicktoons multiverse. Just because someone exists doesn't mean anything specific. I mean, Clark Kent is a Marvel character...Yup but thats a whole comic run, not a 10 second cameo.
Gunn said that the Justice League haven't formed yet in the DCU. In Peacemaker, they reference the Justice League as already existing, even without that cameo. It's just a vague memory of what happened, neither The Suicide Squad nor Peacemaker are canon.Do you plan on adding The Suicide Squad to the DC Universe timeline? I mean no disrespect from what I am about to say, but you have forced Lois & Clark into the Burtonverse timeline. Earth-789 be darned. The Justice League haven't formed yet in the DCU's version of Peacemaker. Even ignoring the Justice League scene, they referenced calling the Justice League for help throughout the last episode. Therefore, it is not ONLY the Justice League scene that is different. James Gunn's statements suggest that those projects aren't canon but are an unreliable memory of what did happen in-canon.
