Ghostbusters - Timeline

Okay, thankfully I can eliminate fanfiction completely. They're a parallel universe, Dimension 68-F. Apparently a canon one, seeing as the main universe references them.

His death in the Buffyverse is different. You could probably explain it though. The worshipers and construction/mining backgrounds definitely strengthen the link between the two.

so what's the percentage of the Buffyverse being canon?

My theory on when Dimension 68-E (Extreme Ghostbusters) split off from Dimension 68-R (The Real Ghostbusters) is whenever the Ghostbusters: Get Real crossover happens within the animated continuity. It's the only thing that makes sense, since it involves Interdimensional travel. I, uh... I might get round to covering that reality eventually. Added separate timelines for the universes with reality numbers too.

Ghostbusters (2016) commentary:
"Corvette Summer is one of my favorite movies and Annie Potts was in it and her name was Vanessa. So when you watch this in HD, look at her name tag. Her name in the scene is Vanessa."

Lol, that'd be funny if she were the same character and Ghostbusters: Answer The Call was a sequel to Corvette Summer.

It's probably fair to say that Earth-88326 is Dimension 68-E. This might be due to that alien or ghost that originated from the Doctor Who comics and reappeared somewhere in Ghostbusters.

Also, those Marvel UK magazines are gonna be a nightmare to cover if I get to it.

Lol, Caddyshack sharing a universe with Ghostbusters (2016). That's an entertaining thought.
One that isn't likely, considering that in the same comic series, they mention visiting the actual reality of Caddyshack. Unless they visited the same universe but didn't realise it, checked out the history of Peter's double, and came across Carl Spackler (Caddyshack) instead of Martin Heiss (Ghostbusters: Answer The Call) by chance.

I thought doubles were only people with the same names

Doppelgänger. Peter Venkman would have two doppelgängers in Dimension 80-C if Caddyshack were the same universe as it, and the Dimension Prime Ghostbusters would have been unaware that they're interacting with characters from the same reality as that film.

I just got to this. Couldn't stop laughing, lol.

I guess Winston meant it when he said he's seen things that'll turn you white, huh? :p

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire's props place Winston's birthday on June 17th, 1945 - something they must have gotten from the Ghostbusters: Year One miniseries most likely.
