Alien Shared Universe - Headcanon Timeline (V2.0)

I think I was mistaken. For some reason I remember reading something, but nah, Mr. President runs the UPA only. That honestly works better since, if we're counting Death Race 2008 onwards, the USA would be reinstated after Frankenstein abolished the Death Race. I mean, sure, the expanded settings of Alien, Predator and Terminator probably has the USA existing over the UPA, but it's not too bad counting only the on-screen occurrences in 2000.

...well, problem with that. Death Race 2020 suggests that Frankenstein stayed the president up to the year 2020. Hm... maybe he became president again between 2000 and 2020? As long as the events in the comic happen, we can fill in the gaps even if it wouldn't normally make sense.

Honestly, I'd toss the 2000/2020/2050 timeline and focus on the 2008/2/3/4 series, since those connect to AVP and the 2000 series doesn't... but it's up to you, I mean, you might be able to make it work if you're creative enough.

America changing flags actually happens in the Alien future anyway.

It's probably because it was confirmed non-canon, but no one has mentioned Raised by Wolves yet? It's a Ridley Scott-related series with androids that have white blood in it.

Here's some relevant quotes about it.

Aaron Guzikowski
"Ridley has been working with these sorts of themes for a good long time now, starting with Alien and then Blade Runner. So I think there's a thematic connection. He directed the first two episodes; he was intimately involved in the entire production. So there was a lot of exchange of DNA between a lot of the mythologies that Ridley has established in the past and this new story. But I think a lot of the rules that apply to these androids and a lot of the questions that they bring up, are similar to going as far back to Ash from Alien."
"I think in some ways it continues on some aesthetics that Ridley's established in some of his previous films. In this series, he's evolved into just transmogrifying these ideas into things people haven't necessarily seen yet, But there is sort of a continuity, in terms of just the visuals in Alien and Blade Runner, Alien Covenant, in terms of the way they've imagined what an alien planet could look like, to the androids and even some of the H.R. Giger type of design stuff - all of that is in there. But in addition to that, it's kind of evolved into a new stage of trying to look into the future. Now that we're kind of already in a science fiction future, coming up with this stuff just takes on a different sort of process. I think it has the DNA of Ridley's previous work, but he's evolving into some new stuff that we haven't seen yet."
"Obviously, I was hugely influenced by all of [Scott's] work, Prometheus included, for sure, and when I first met with him, we talked all about it. But there was never any concern with him in terms of how it was going to connect to his other stuff. He more wanted to just kind of take it for what it was. And obviously, there's a lot of homages to the other stuff he's worked on, I mean, because he's built this whole visual vocabulary in terms of modern science fiction. So, it was interesting, but we never talked about how specifically the series would fit into that mythology, nor was that really ever the goal. It's a close cousin, and it can kind of sit alongside it, but technically speaking, the mythologies don't link up, necessarily."

Ridley Scott
"Interesting question but, no. the first Alien story feels like it may be some time before Raised By Wolves, in that the Nostromo was probably financed by an organised global economy. Wolves is about post-global war chaos."

I love that Ridley Scott confirmed it's not the same universe as Alien... and then said that Raised by Wolves is set after Alien.
