Notes: LV-426 distress signal is already active, implying the Xenomorphs are already present.

Note: The events of Blade Runner apparently happened, although the specifics aren't clear and may involve different characters.

Some notes about Alien: Earth's timeline:
- The spaceship in Alien: Earth was sent out in 2055. There are Weyland-Yutani logos in some of the containers, so I guess they might have stopped off at some outposts or replaced their logos in 2099. They do apparently get updates about Earth history so it'd make sense. Not really canon breaking, just something to note. Besides, they could have merged prior to the 2050s, separated, then merged in 2099 again.

- The beginning of the episode is set 4 months before they arrive on Earth. There are a few flashes to the escape of the creatures, but no clear shots. The Crate short actually fits into the timeline perfectly.

Predators and Predator: Badlands are definitely not set in those years, but otherwise, cool!

1. Predators is set in 2024 based on Predator: Hunting Grounds, plus statements by Shane Black.

2. Predator: Killer of Killers' present day is set after Predator 2 and should NOT be watched before Prey. It even shows characters from the first two films and Prey. I hate wikipedia right now for placing it before.

3. Predator: Badlands is not set on Earth. It's set on an off-world colony and Weyland-Yutani are featured. It's confirmed to be set in the future as well. An exact year isn't known, but at least after 2099.

Oups erreur
Toutes mes excuses !

Aliens: Criminal Enterprise is on the timeline twice. Would this need to be corrected, or is it a multiple stories thing?

Just finished watching Prometheus, and wow that wasn't what I expected at all. Still don't see how it would retcon Predator from the timeline, all it seems to say is that the Xenomorphs were created a organic weapons of mass destruction, so if anything it strengthens the Predator connections by having them intentionally hunt them

Technically, it doesn't even necessarily suggest that. Alien: Romulus might suggest the Xenomorphs actually predated humanity depending on how you interpret it, interestingly enough.

Indeed. I really don't get the whole "Prometheus retcons Predator out of the timeline" arguement, TBH.

I assume it'd be different beings creating the Xenomorphs, instead of the Yautja farming them, but it clearly wasn't an intentional inconsistency (if one at all, I'm just trying to figure out why it could retcon it)

Would people say I should watch the other Alien movies, then Alien Earth, or would it be okay to just jump straight in?
