Alien vs. Predator - Timeline

I'm really hoping the new Avatar has an alien or predator reference. I think it would be cool if the RDA was a competitor to Wayland Yutani. Or even subcontracted by them.

Hi
I shared your chronology because a small YouTuber who is passionate about Alien told me that your work was completely wrong. Honestly, I find that very hard to believe. We're talking about a huge amount of work that requires time, rigor, and serious research.

I watched his video, and it was honestly quite boring, with confusing explanations about "five different chronologies," without any real depth. On my side, I explained to him that you have a lot of experience building complex and well-structured timelines. Yet, according to him, you're just fans who don't really know anything, and that really made me angry.

Here, this place is like an Ali Baba's cave: a space where you can learn, discover many cultures, exchange ideas, and truly share our passions. Dismissing this work by saying "they're just fans" is unfair and mainly shows a lack of openness and curiosity.

I would argue that they're just weirdo Alien fans who want to disconnect everything.

Five chronologies? What?
Alien, Predator, AVP, Alien: Earth I guess, what else? Dumb guy just ignoring the freaking director of the latest movie.

I think it's a skull from Enemy Mine in Predator 2:

"Peter Briggs: [...] I was like "Yeah", and you know Predator 2 had just come out and I said, you know, have you seen Predator 2, and they said "no we've been too busy, we've no time to see it yet". So I told them about the trophy case scene in when Danny Glover goes to the Predator ship, there's the alien skull and I don't know if you guys know this but in, there's a bunch of interesting other skulls there. I think Chris Walas, who was one of the guys on the movie I think he, he erm, the Drax skull from enemy mine in there

Interviewer: I never noticed that one

Peter Briggs: I think that's one, I think that's one of the ones in there"

funny enough I was thinking that if they would ever canonize another 20th Alien film it'd be Enemy Mine. And the skull looks like it might be that alien so ye. But from memory timeline wise EM wouldn't really fit, the reboot they're working on maybe who knows

Il m'a envoyé le lien du site web ; c'est intéressant.

The reason he was told not to reference Predator and AVP is because they're legally distinct franchises. Free League Publishing had the rights to the Alien franchise, not Predator or AVP.

He went on his own and declared, separately from Fox, that them being separate franchises make them separate canons. Well, Iron Man and Captain America are different franchises set in separate universes.

The new Predator film is literally set after Alien: Resurrection. The director has confirmed all films as canon. He added references to Alien: Romulus with the android eyes. He added the Alien connections due to AVP existing, with a video for Predator: Badlands even featuring AVP footage.

Dan even confirmed a timeline that includes every Alien, Predator and AVP film is "correct".
