I love this series! Downloaded the first 100 issues and was hooked after reading the first few.

I've been meaning to get this I made thread on it a while ago but I think it was deleted.
One thing I didn't want was the digest as v.1 = in manga form however on Amazon.co.uk they have V1. listed as 30 May 2007 coming out and it looks like its the style as the others. I love manga (duh) I just didn't like Idea that v.1 = manga v.2 = normal So my question now
Is the new v.1 just digests or is it tpb if so does that mean they are all been tpb-ed?

all my stuff shows me that its in TB form at the moment, but Marvel might change that at the last moment and go digest.

my eyes don't see as well as they use to, that small print on the digest just kill me.
one of the reasons why i own the Hardcover of all the runaways along with the single issues 8)

That sounds cool.
Yeah the reason I don't like digests is too small IMO and so = too hard to read. I find reading fairly hard unless its a bigger letters. plus smaller boxes means harder to see details.

Where does the annual fit in between issues? I downloaded them but I don't know where annual and spider-man family issue fit

Read 1-5 to night will read more after raw. Ok if you have not read this you have to. I like feel of it where takes one issue to fight the bad guy reminds me of the first spider-man ones before 616 started to do arcs.
Now don't get me wrong I like arcs like Ultimate does a lot. but it's nice to go back to old style now and again.
It's got real emotion with peter , M.J and May that works very well. It is funny at the right moments. The characters are great like in the first one with Norman's grand son.
The art I feel is a mix between new and the old school spider-man ones which works fantastically.
I give this series just on the first 5 issues 5 out 5 *s

Glad you liked it. I can say as much as there will be more arc oriented issues further down the run.

yeah I wanted to read it for ages just not now I am. Spider-venom was very cool. going to drop someone off a bridge for dropping a sweet wrapper.:lol: I think not even the punisher is that extreme

Just finished the Kaine arc. That is a very cool story. I also love the character Darkdevil. Darkdevil is a very good and well thought out character. Also I was totally wrong with who I thought he was

I haven't read any MC2 stuff in probably close to 8 years, but I got the first few Spider-Girl digests at Wizard World for a couple bucks each because I remembered really liking it. And it's still awesome. So far I've bought the first four Spider-Girls, and the first J2 and A-Next ones. I know the Last _ Standing minis and Amazing Spider-Girl are in regular-sized trades, but I hope they'll reprint them digest-sized when the time comes. Also, I hope they finish off the J2 and A-Next series.
This is a great little sub-universe and the Ultimate Universe could've learned a lot from it.

I really liked the twist with May's brother. That was really ****ed up. This Carnage arc is actually the best the book's been so far, in my opinion.

Even if the title changed then became an online comic that was reprinted as back-up stories in spider-man anthologies and now has yet another series.
I really liked the first series. Spider-Girl was really well done and had an awesome supporting cast. Amazing Spider-Girl kind of lost some of that and I lost interest. I didn't bother collecting the backup stories.
I'm slightly tempted to start buying this again, but I don't think I will. But it warms my heart to know Mayday is still going strong.

I didn't get the 1st issue, it just started up in the middle of a "gang war", with no idea how it started. i didn't get a chance to finish the last bit of the Spidergirl series and might have missed something from there. However, same writing and style as the other Spidergirl titles, so it should all be cleared up soon.
