There could be a solid argument for The Polar Express being connected, though. Same director, there's a Flux Capacitor and a reference to the Lone Pine Mall. The movie is set in 1956. Since Marty hit a tree in 1955, changing the Twin Pine Mall in 1985 into the Lone Pine Mall, it's set in a timeline that comes after the first film. I wouldn't personally make that connection myself, but I'm just putting it out there.
