I was thumbing through IGN's list of their Top 25 Batman Graphic Novels again the other day and one of the one's that really piqued my interest was #16 on this list - a one-shot called Batman: Gothic.
I picked it up from the library the next day and finished it this morning. It's a quick, enjoyable read and creates a great atmosphere of horror and suspense, heavily focused around gothic archetecture, lore, poetry and storytelling.
Oh, and did I mention it's by Grant ****ing Morrison?
Check this one out.
