Started this one last year following pubblication order, and not enjoying this, and forgotten about this project, since I want to continue this universe, I will now follow both Travis and the Buffyverse chronology for giving you the best Timeline and Watching/Reading/playing Order.

NOTE: This thread will only have CANON, DOUBIOUS CANON media and ANCILLARY MATERIALS from both universes, so you will not find none NON CANON media.

this section exist to explain some of my most tricky decisions in the Watching/reading/playing Order:

• Buffy the Vampire Slayer Classics: The Origin: So, When I first started this project following pubblication order I arrived to Season 3 so I read the first issue of the miniseries. So I was completely unaware of the last scene in issue 3 with Buffy explaining his origin to the Scoooby Gang. So we start to analize that scene. The scene take place a year after "the Origin", so we are in 1997, and thanks to Buffy's haircut we know it's at some time during season 2's first half. Having aquired this knowledge and leaving apart that the sccobies ascked about her orign only in season 2, my order and travis one are both wrong if we taalk about a chronological order. Anyway there are only 4 ways to place the origin:​
  • We place the miniseries where it should be, so we read this after 2x1, and we start season 1 without knowing about Buffy's Origin.​
  • Same as first point but instead before watching 1x1 you watch the movie (which is terrible and thankfully non-canon) to have a glimpse of Buffy's Origin, and then reading to buffy's true origin in season 2.​
  • following Travis order, which is watching movie then 1x1-1x2 and then reading the origin.​
  • following mine take, read the origin before season 1, and trat the last scene as a glimpse of Buffy's future life with new friends.​
• Buffy the Vampire Slayer: "History of the Slayer": It was originally multiple clips with the aim of promoting season 1, since it came before season 1 putting it between "The Origin" and Season 1. Link to the wiki page since some of the original clip are currently lost.
• Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Classic: "Angel: The Hollower": This one is more for the timeline than the watching/reading/playing order, anyway the flashback portion in issue 3 has the year 1894, while the flashback in issue 1-2 have 1892, I know that this couuld mean that maybe Angel and the Hollower had a lot of battles between 1892 and 1894, but since the 2 flashback happens one after the other, and the miniseries imply that Angel's fight with the hollower in 1999 is their second battle, we have to say that one of the date is wrong, I take 1892 as the right one since it appears in 2 comics out of 3 (and the wiki seems ok with this) but if you prefer 1894 it works too.
• Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Classic: Haunted: "Prologue": Same thing as The Origin point in this section, and this time canonically, since it was avvertised as to be read after season 3 but before season 4 of Buffy (and season 1 of Angel) even if Faith is in prison like in Angel, well How I sayed before this takes the "The Origin" treatment.
