comic price increase???

Hey guys long time no hear
I am shocked that comic prices are flucuating from 2.99 to 4.99, is this because of the high gas prices? That's what I'm thinking it is unless it's because they are putting more pages into the comic? I've heard no news on this. could someone please clarify thanks
EDIT: Didn't read that the moon knight issue I was going to get had more pages. this makes sense for the price increase still some other issues are anywhere from 4 to 5 dollars. clarifcation please?

Well, I was told they are changing the recipe of comics to a non-trans-fat recipe. They are more difficult to read, but now you get to read more of them.
