Marvel's pricing on their collected editions is ridiculous. I was considering the Spider-Man 2099 TPBs but Vol. 2 has 5 issues and some bonus stuff and costs $30?

I remember the first volume for Uncanny Avengers was priced $5 or so more than if you bought the collected issues in singles.

You're right.

To be fair, the $3.99 cover price includes the digital copy. Also, the first volume included a digital copy as well.
