Could a comic book/manga crossover happen?

Since there have been many crossovers between comic book companies and even a few crossovers between manga companies, I wonder would it be possible to make a crossover between comic book characters and manga characters?

That could do well, but I guess there would issues to work out, who would write it, how would you divide the creative duties between the comic book company, etc

Yes depending on what it is. E.g Spider-man manga version could cross-over with 616 version through alternate dimensions. Or possibly something like Hellsing/Blade team up could work.

However in the second one a heavy medium would need to be done art wise. I mean a style not too comic book not too manga. That would be something hard to do.

That'd be so much better than Bleach vs X-Men or a DBZ/Justice League team-up.

Crossovers just wouldn't work. At all.

I'd want Hiro Mashima (Fairy Tail, Rave Master) writing Heroes For Hire.

Eiichiro Oda (One Piece) on Justice League.

Iwashiro Toshiaki (Psyren) on X-Men.

Tanabe Yellow (Kekkaishi) on Spider-Man.

Hiromu Arakawa (Fullmetal Alshemist) on Avengers

Ohba Tsugumi/Obata Takeshi (Death Note, Bakuman) on Fantastic Four

Takeshigi Hiroshi/Double-S (Until Death Do Us Part) on Daredevil or possibly Punisher.

I have more but this post is long enough.
