UC-I need your help. My friend Matt and I just started making comedy shorts together and we just SOLD our first short to NBC's comedy website. Like for money and everything. We would like this thing to get a lot of hits, cause it would help our future with NBC, and we think it deserves it.

SO, just click the link, watch, and enjoy. If you like it, spread the word. Comment on it. Send it to friends. Embed the crap out of it. It is best viewed full screen.

And it's about a property a lot of you already know and are excited about.

That's really good man. The main guy is hilarious. I think it would be funny if you managed to splice him complaining about something into the scene when the monster is first heard and the lights flicker.

Yeah, i'd love for those sites to get it, but i'm not sure how to submit it just as a suggestion without going through their forums. the cracked submissions so far as i can tell require we own the rights, which we don't cause it's licensed to NBC, even though they have links for stuff all around the web. i gotta dig a little.

So I tried to email it to the screenwriter, Drew Goddard, who's also written for Alias, Buffy, Angel, and Lost, but the email on his site doesn't work anymore. And unfortunately it can't be posted on youtube, cause it's hosted by NBC. But the trailer is starting to be embedded on a bunch of Cloverfield blogs and stuff, which is really cool to see happen! Matt sent it to someone at the Slusho site, and we'll see what happens.

So, this is something that was just released on the youtube that all you kids go crazy over. It gives you the first good actual look at me!

This is the first full episode of about 4 or 5 more that the creator is pitching to a couple of networks, including MTV. The concept, as is explained in the opening, is readings of actual postings from Craigslist's missed connections section. The girl is my girlfriend, and the guy at the end responding to her post is me! :D
