Well... I don't know about that. It's a theory though. I just think in the DCEU, the Quantum Unfolding Storage Area has an unexplained backstory. I mean, the way I see it, Rick Flag Sr. might not even exist.

I guess the 2 year difference between DCEU and the DCU versions of events works it out.

• DCU Peacemaker was still in prison when DCEU Peacemaker killed Auggie plus the Butterflies (2021).
• DCEU and DCU Auggie …just convieniantly never ran across each other or there was a "Council of Auggie Smiths" which we have not learned about yet this season.
• Ultimately, DCU Auggie started it all.
