Nah, we're just having a completely separate discussion. I don't think many people think they're separate multiverses. I guess they could be, but... nah.

Yeah things got mixed-around, plucked out and rearranged in the Multiverse as a result of Flashpoint.

Clearly Flash was surprised by George Clooney Batman, so who's to say he didn't go back and try to fix things? I feel that, at the very least, the flashpoint was originally intended to create the DCU, but since it's clearly different in The Flash, he could've just gone back to try and fix things after Escape the Midnight Circus. He could've also lost his powers at some point trying to fix this, leading to a different Flash in the DCU. It's advertised as a soft reboot to the DCEU, so time travel shenanigans seem like the most likely option to me, if at the very least done by any time traveller - not just Flash

I think the Clooney thing was put in specifically so that it wasn't a tease for the future and they could start their reboot with a clean slate.
