DC Extended Universe / DC Universe - Timeline

Though, if we're doing the same colour for mini-franchises, would it be possible to align shows on the MCU timeline with their respected IPs (eg Eyes of Wakanda the same as Black Panther movies)

The difference with that is that it's always been that the MCU shows have the same color scheme no matter what.

Superman, Supergirl and Man of Tomorrow are said by Gunn to part of the same "Super Family" ongoing story so this helps give that visual cue.
Okay, but why is Creature Commandos the same colour as Birds of Prey? Or even, The Authority being red? Clayface as grey?

To me, that's like making Lanterns red because it has Guy Gardner in it, a character from Superman. I just personally think each character can get their own colours and it'd look better. I mean, your X-Men timeline gives every single film except all the Deadpool instalments a different colour to each other.

I feel like having Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey, Peacemaker, Creature Commandos and Waller all the same colour is like if X-Men, Wolverine, Deadpool and The New Mutants were all given the same colour because it spins out of X-Men, or if there was an Avengers film first in the MCU so we gave every solo film of each hero the same colour.

This is just my opinion on that, though.

I would have sent a direct message to @selfishmisery but I'm unable to so I'll just say it here.

I'm going through the DCEU with a friend and wanted to read Secret Files of the Suicide Squad when we get to it. I figured I'd ask you if you know where to find it before I try buying it for myself. :)

We finished the MCU after 2.5 years of watching! We need a break from Marvel. I convinced him that if the next huge thing we watch is the Arrowverse (after a ton of other things), I'll fold and watch all of the Power Rangers franchise (including Ninja Turtles and Masked Rider)... something I'm not terribly interested in doing, but I mean... credit where credit is due if he watches essentially DC's TV equivalent of the MCU. :p

If you do that, I'll thank your friend a lot, as you'll be of a great help to me hahah

Hmm... could Kara have been an active hero in the DCEU off-screen like Green Lantern? (Based on BVS tie-ins having the logo appear)
