Hmm, interesting... though, I'm only up to Season 4 of Gotham, so I can't fully give my opinion.

Is it fair to even consider Sandman / DBD part of post-Crisis Earth-19?

Matthew Cable dies in the Swamp Thing show, and while he appears reincarnated as a crow in Sandman - they are vague about his death to where he just states something along the lines of "I can't remember how I died, but it might have been in my sleep". Assuming he passed out then bled out after Floronic Man gravely mauled him....Also, Swamp Thing is set in a world without superheroes, like Sandman / DBD.
