The visuals in Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo take the series to a new level by faithfully reproducing on-screen the original drawings of legendary Dragon Ball artist Akira Toriyama down to the finest pen strokes. Thanks to the high-quality, state-of-the-art graphics, fans will be able to immerse themselves in the Dragon Ball universe like never before.

Game modes include Story mode which follows Kid Goku from the Red Ribbon Saga to the King Piccolo Saga with the ability to replay previously completed stages, and the unlockable VS mode where players can take different unlocked characters into battle.

With in-game collectables, a host of unlockables, and more fun, fights and adventure than ever before all delivered in dazzling 3D,
Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo is the definitive Dragon Ball videogame experience coming to Wii this autumn 2009.

Nice the first NON-fighting and NON-Z game on consoles in a long time. (unless non-fighting you count sagas but that sucked)

Cool. I always thought that "RPGs" which followed the stories of the anime series would be awesome. The graphics are neat too.

I hate to disappoint but this isn't an rpg. It's a platformer/Beat 'em up. Though they have done RPGs of dragonball z, But that was back on the Snes days. Hand hold wise they got the "Legacy of Goku" series which I LOVED and are replaying at the moment.

I know, that's why I put it in quotations. It was the most suitable word for what I wanted. This game looks close enough to those original wants of mine as a kid.

Ahh, Sorry I thought you did quotes to show it was an abbreviation. My mistake. But yeah I'm same as you. Looking at it, It reminds me of games like Streets fof rage , Turtles in time , Spider-man & venom games. Which I loved plus I love the way it looks. E.g look at Goku's tail in this picture :

It looks fuzzy. Not a big thing I know but look at it in the fighting games. It's sausage like in it's appearance. Where as this seems like polished up version of Akira Toriyama's art. That's a big plus.
