Just finished a reaction piece to the recent news that Marvel is headlining a school campaign called "Do Your Thing" which uses the Fantastic Four to teach children self-confidence and pride, in an attempt to encourage social values AND promote the upcoming Fantastic Four movie.

Take a look here at: http://gigo.jawbreaker.ph/index.php?itemid=56

Feedback, thoughts and other comments are most extremely welcome over there. :D

Anyone remember the old Superman battling 'Nick O'teen' posters from years ago, trying to dissuade kids from starting smoking? :)

And I think things like this are so totally crass, cheap plugs in the guise of morality. Hideous. Coca-cola sponsored Christmas rubbish.

I own Spider-Man comics sponsored by the Alliance for a Drug Free Canada. I am shamed.
