Hi what is everyones fave Ultimate spider-man arc/tpb?


Mines the 1st one.

It just got me hooked seeing what they did to green goblin I was like :shock: spider-man could not beat him it took helecopters with minigun things to take him down that just impressed me.

btw did spider-man ever beat green goblin in ultimate comics?

because I can't remember him been the one to finish him

I had to go with the second volume, "Learning Curve". Not only was it my first USM trade, but it was hysterical and exciting. Plus, the last issue was "Confessions" which was a welcome surprise.

Great trade.
 
I have to go with the Venom one, not only because it was a great story and awesome characterization but it was also the thing that got me really into comics. Before then I knew almost nothing about Ultimate Spider-man or anything in recent comics, but I was at Barnes and Noble and saw they sell tpb and decided to get Origins and I saw that cover and thought sure why the hell not. And that's how I you came to be graced by my presence.

Learning curve. I actually laughed out loud during the Spidey/Kingpin conversation.

Almost as funny as "You think this 'A' stands for France?"

It also gave (what I thought to be) a believeable villain, with a realistic story, and showed even superheroes fail.

All in all, it really is the best Spidey TPB.
 
Most of the arcs with Kingpin have been quite good, The 2nd arc, the Blackcat arc was all right, and i thought Warriors was well done as well
But Electo in 2nd (sorry) arc was quite cool and i voted for 2nd arc anyway

Electro was in the second arc.

Which gives it another point.

Yeah, Electro and Shocker were my favorite things about the 2nd Arc. Electro, because he got a way better look. And Shocker becoming a 'B' villain was nice, because I was never a big fan of him in the first place :p.

good point but I can't remember all the titles of the tpbs. Sorry. I would look on mine but I keep mine in another room it sleeves in a glass display unit free of dust and dirt. Read once put in unit.

I voted 9, but I really meant 10 because I forgot which volume was which.

HOLLYWOOD is my favorite, anyway... Not Ultimate Six.
