I just got done reading the TPB...

It wasn't anything great but it was somewhat enjoyable...

Totally taken off of The Usual Suspects, which I was told to watch before I read it...

Couple Questions...

Does this Silver guy exist? Or has he had any interaction previously?

Does anyone know what happens to the characters after this? I know Deadpool's story and Sandmans. I found it interesting that Toomes was sent to Rykers maybe he was freed with the breakout in New Avengers??

I dunno questions, comments, and complaints post here...

Added spoilers to the subject line...

What is this about, besides being based off of The Usual Suspects?

Isn't it about some criminals whoa re all hired to steal the disc which has the identities of every hero on it? Or did you want more than that?

This chick claims she works for this infamous, mysterious supervillain. She blackmails Sandman, Vulture, Sabertooth, Juggernaut, Deadpool, and Bullseye with various things against them. She blackmails them to recover a disc with all the information of every hero/villain in the known world.

That's the gist... they have to work together to get the disc...

You know what's more interesting...

I'm reading the Sentry TPB right now...

and Jae Lee's Void looks a lot like Silver from Identity Disc.... who gave me a mystery figure talking to electro feeling.... I'd like to change my answer in the official marvel poll...

I put "spoilers" in the thread title - you're OK to spoil the whole thing.

I tried my best

Someone's telling the story....

Bribes (This helps)
Sandman - Threatens to have his mother ("Ma") killed.

Vulture - His long lost daughter is on trial for a murder and will be hung. The woman promises to get her off the hook and to have him reunited with her.

Deadpool - The location of his Ex-wife.

Juggernaut - since he's trying to play it clean he's bribed with a picture that makes it look like he killed someone.

Sabertooth - It's never disclosed

Bullseye - Signed too exclusive contracts with rival syndacites and now they're both after him. She promised to get him off the hook.

Sandman, Vulture, Sabertooth, Juggernaut, Bullseye, and Deadpool all get blackmailed by this woman who was working for a man, Tristram Silver who is almost a urban legend. Silver supposedly is like the greatest villain of all time and can make anyone do anything. Anyway they have to recover this disc that holds the home addresses, identities, and everything else on every hero in the marvel universe. Sandman goes through this bit where he thinks the girl's a fake and the girl shoots him with a special bullet that mixes with his organic structure and he dies. A.I.M. has the disc and it's being kept in a base in Manhattan. So they run this covert mission to get the disc. There cover is blown during the mission and then things get interesting *Major Spoilers* Vulture is told to run things seperately. His mission is to cut the generator power. The rest of them are inside fighting off the A.I.M. soldiers. Vulture joins them but keeps getting shot at so he has to retreat to the upper rafters so he's out first. Then Deadpool sacrafices himself as a distraction. Then the rest have to go down an elevator shaft to get to the bottom level. Sabertooth goes down first. Juggernaut volunteers to stay behind but Bullseye pushes him down. Bullseye then tries to take on the A.I.M. soldiers so he gets taken out next. Then we see Sabertooth get squashed by Juggernaut who fell on him. So we're only left with Juggernaut who reaches the disc but a mystery person knocks him out. anyway the place blows up because it's also a missle launch site. Vulture gets arrested as he seems to be the only survivor. He gets taken in by Shield and the whole story was from his standpoint talking to Fury. Fury doesn't get anything out of his story as he already knows most of it. You're lead to believe that Sabertooth is behind all of it. But as Vulture is being escorted out by a female S.H.I.E.L.D. agent the whole thing is revealed. The Agent is the same girl that set the villains up and is also Vultures daughter. Vulture and her were tying to get the disc because the information that she was his daughter would've been leaked to SHIELD and she would've been fired and worse. The whole plan was a father/daughter reunion. but that's only half of it I guess... because We then go to a beach where the sandman is talking to a mysterious MR. SILVER. They talk about how Vulture and his daughter think he really doesn't exist but he does and he is now thinking about going after the disc himself. Sandman apparently faked his death for his buddy Vulture to help him a long but Sandman actually works for Mr. Silver.

Not too good of a summary but that's it in a nutshell... it wasn't a bad read and well it's confusing to tell but if you pick it up you'll understand better...

if you have questions ask me...

I don't how contiuinity works in these comics but if The Void and Mr. Silver turned out to be the same person... I wouldn't surprised and I'd kinda think it'd be sweet...

Oh my god it's so the void.... after reading some of the sentry I know it has to be...

Identity Disc Spoiler --- They talk about this rumored story where this whole village just vanishes because of Silver as I'm reading the sentry I'm only on like the first few pages... The part where they say 100 men just vanish into thin air... I'm so pumped up about this...

NRAMA: Speaking of the whole registration in the first place and SH.I.E.L.D. – what more does the government want that SH.I.E.L.D. doesn’t already have on all these heroes? Identity Disc showed that the information is out there…

JQ: The identity disc was an urban myth; at the end of the story it was clear that it never existed. And while S.H.I.E.L.D. may have many of the heroes identities, that’s just one of the many things that are being asked of our heroes. The identity thing doesn’t solve the sanctioning and training issues.

 Tristram Silver does exist.
