Introducing Opinz!

I was just working on that. :(
For Opinz?? When it was first suggested that you might help with this thing, I held off on doing any Bowie reviews but I figured after a while that you were out...

Also: it would be awesome if this guy is who he says he is -

I'm not out. I merely have poor time management skills. I'm working on it.

In the meantime, I've already got a couple of reviews ready, I'll just post them one by one after I've accumulated enough backlog.

I'm pretty sure it is. I saw them commenting on their own reviews when I was looking them up.

Tonight, I'm blowing off work responsibilities and writing for this.

Oh, and how do we 'rate' albums?

I mean what's the basis of the measure of goodness?
Hmmm. I don't know exactly. (That sounds bad.)

I suppose I usually go off of instinct.

I'm not sure what other way there is to go when doing something like this.

This is why I hardly ever give ratings. I think the review should speak for itself.

If ever an editor mandates I give a rating, I avoid scoring in gradations that exceed more than 5-10.

Meaning, I don't believe in a rating of 5.9/10 or 88% or any of that nonsense.

It's a very complex algorithm. I will email it to you. It's so huge that it will have to be split up into 46 emails.

In the mean time, just do what I do and make something up.

:D

Funny, I remember when Alphabeat was just a small danish band.

I liked the old look more. It was more fun.

I've got six reviews in the can, will start posting them every two days once I have ten in the can.
