I agree, and there is evidence in the first Jurassic Park of this. Dennis Nedry is watching footage from the first movie "Jaws" on his CPU. If we take this to be "found footage" instead of him actually watching a full length movie in front of his boss in a little Quicktime player (highly unlikely), it's more plausible that he's reviewing either security cam footage or there was a cameraman filming some of the events of "Jaws" in-universe. I think it works.

It's a fun headcanon, I think it's more just Nedry watching the movie (especially with what his character is like) but I might add it to the everything timeline. There's meant to be an Amity Island reference in Rebirth though!! Just looking at release dates i'm guessing all 4 fit before the first Jurassic Park.

I also love the headcanon that Twister (1996) is in the same universe but that's based more on vibes and doesn't really work with the sequel being after all the Jurassic World movies.

Yea I need to watch the Jaws movies (never saw them) to crack the timeline.

Where in Rebirth was Amity Island referenced?

Personally I only see a real connection between Jaws and Jurassic. I'm not really seeing anything that connects Indiana Jones or any other Spielburg films.

Some characters share the same name... mere coincidence, or something deeper? And then there's the strange rumor: could the shark really be from Jurassic Park
