Wow, I remember last decade seeing in Disney Channel the LEGO Friends shorts and now it turns out that the franchise (with the same characters) existed since at least 1999?

OK, they don't look so similar, but the names are the same according to LEGO Wiki

You know LEGO Dimensions show they is a multiverse?
Yup, Just since the games doesn't have a listing (i don't like having the universe as "Doctor Who's universe" for example, so that's why i just ignored putting them in [].

always struck me how the stuff in dimensions is like, from a universe like the original theyre based on but lego

and then theres doctor who just being like, nope, totally main canon. just dont ask why we're lego now, who cares

Why aren't the characters that appeared in Dimensions be considered variants?

there are references to their games. If u were asking that, if u were asking smt else, could u please explain further?

I'm talking about why are the characters that appeared in Dimensions considered the original characters instead of variants?

Updated and modernized this thread with new features that you all may like.

I guess you gotta include The LEGO Movie and its spin-off media too then. I suppose the video game adaptations could be placed into the same canon as those films... or a separate one, I mean, maybe Wildcat comes from The LEGO Movie universe but The LEGO Movie Batman comes from The LEGO Movie video game universe (since that's part of a mission adaptation of The LEGO Batman movie I think?).

From what I Heard all the LEGO movies are the same universe, so LEGO Movie, LEGO Batman Movie and LEGO Ninjago Movie.

And ofc yes the spin-off media Will be added too.

So are you adding all Lego Media (TT games's games, movies, shorts and shows)? Because you would be basically tackling everything Lego, so stuff like all Ninjago seasons, other Lego franchises like Lego City, Dreams, Friends etc. Or are you just adding Games and stuff connected to them? Either way good luck and I'm happy to help with some things.

This video might help with a few things.

Everything concerning Dimension and the TT Games.

And thanks you a lot!

As for now I'm only adding the Games go have a solid base, then I'll dive into the expanded media.
