Loeb/Turner Ultimate Wolverine mini cancelled

ULTIMATE WOLVERINE....is no more.

From a Newsarama article interviewing Michael Turner on the floor of this past weekend's WWC.



He's gonna finish up his work on Soulfire..

"Then after that, I've got a big six-issue run with Marvel coming out with Jeph Loeb."

We asked: That's the Ultimate Wolverine story announced last year, right?

Turner smiled and said, "Nooo... we're changing that. They're changing the Ultimate universe up a bit, so it's going to be something else."

Is it at least something Wolverine related?

"Possibly. We'll see," he said with a smile. "We're actually still sort of formulating the event. I can't give you more than that."

It was also a yellow-light item, meaning he might have details wrong or have gotten partially wrong info. I can definitely see that as a mixup.

And it stil isn't done.

This is why its difflucult to keep up with Indy titles

Meh. I couldn't care less actually. After Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk and the Ultimate Origins (which seems to involve James in a BIG way if you go by the previews shown) there aren't much need for this.
