I have every single 2099 book ever published (except for the Kirkman stuff). I loved this line with all my heart and I've recently been rereading them. I doubt they'll ever be brought back without major changes and that makes me sad. But if they ever returned the line back to the way it was before Joey Cavalieri got fired as editor I would be the happiest man on the face of the Earth.
Also, for Houde's comment, apparently the Exiles Spider-Man 2099 is an even different version of Spider-Man 2099 from any of the previous 2099 universe. According to the Handbook series anyway. I didn't read those issues so I'm not entirely sure what's going on.
