Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 2)

I'm thinking we can place this in the timeline (I know it may have been made for Jessica Jones, but I think it works better, here, in Defenders, since both Trish and Hogarth mention not being able to contact Jessica):

November 5
Jessica Jones | Phone Etiquette (Link)

November 6
The Punisher 1x01: "3 A.M." (0:04:28 - 0:07:46)
The Defenders 1x01: "The H Word" (0:00:00 - 0:04:21)
The Punisher 1x01: "3 A.M." (0:07:47 - 0:09:31)

Works better, sure, but I'm not sure that was the intention. Still, it works if you want to go there.

Noticed a mistake. Spider-Man: Homecoming and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot are both in October, without a specific date, just that it's in October. They shouldn't be seperated in the detailed timeline like they are.

So instead of:
October
Spider-Man: Homecoming

October
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Slingshot
Spider-Man: Homecoming - Driver's Test

It's:
October
Spider-Man: Homecoming
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Slingshot
Spider-Man: Homecoming - Driver's Test

Is there any reason that Thor: The Dark World - Prelude is where it is in the simplified viewing order (since it's wrong from what I can tell?)

In the detailed timeline, it is concurrent with The Avengers and Marvel One Shot: Item 47. So I'm wondering why it's not after Item 47 and is placed after Guardians of the Galaxy: Prelude

It begins concurrently with The Avengers because of the prologue where Loki is imprisoned in Asgard after the Chitauri invasion, but the rest of the movie takes place a year later, with Agents of SHIELD 1x08 taking place shortly after it.

I was talking about the Thor: The Dark World - Prelude comic book tie-in. My mistake.

I think the Captain America PSAs from Spider-Man Homecoming should be in the timeline in 2012 (where they were likely filmed in-universe after the events of The Avengers), both the after credits one and the ones in the Blu Ray special features, which I think are the same as these seen on YouTube:

Rappin' with Captain America PSAs

Looks like someone made a custom EAS (Emergency Alert System) for the Thanos attack as seen at the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp. Could work in the timeline with a different program being interrupted (this one uses a WHiH clip from the Civil War period):

https://youtu.be/isenQ7NVjUM

Some other stuff that could possibly be fit in the timeline (if they aren't already part of the Netflix shows that I overlooked):

Jessica Jones- 2 Days

Daredevil season 2- Ensemble

Daredevil season 2- Suiting Up

(Wonder if it's an homage to this scene from the Ben Affleck Daredevil movie:

The EAS video is fan made, and therefore non-canon.

The Two Days promo is from JJS2.

The Ensemble promo can't fit.

Same goes for Suit Up.

All but Demolition in the punisher don't work. Maybe the second one.

Personally i believe it has to have some type of story benefit to be included. The cap ones definitely work in my opinion.

Just because 2 Days was made for S2, doesn't mean it can't be inserted into S1, when Jessica is interviewing Killgrave possible victims. Unless it's interviews that were already seen, I can't remember.

I know the EAS video is fan made, but it could fit in someone's custom edit, if they like. I may use a modified version of it.

Ah, ok. Haven't gotten that far yet. I'm still on season 1 of Punisher.

I went ahead and found new links for the now broken links on the timeline that can be edited back into the first post. It was tough finding all of the WHiH segments in English with no foreign subtitles. (Even though a lot of the links I found have foreign titles/ descriptions, the actual content is all English). In my searching, I did find an edit of all of the WHiH segments and WIRED magazine interview in one video, in the same order as they appear on the timeline: https://youtu.be/j4IgjmQENE4 and a fan edit someone did of the WHiH Scott Lang interview where they cut out about a minute. It's ok, but I have no problem with the official version. Scott Lang Interview (Much Tighter Fan Cut): https://youtu.be/Pl0D__cf1n4

Here are the updated links to replace the now-broken ones, as well as some new material, ready to be edited back into the timeline:

April 13

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - Slingshot 1x06: "Justicia" (0:01:46 - 0:03:13) (see link above)

I added YouTube links for the Slingshot episodes and an extended cut of the Spider-Man NBA Finals Spots which should replace the four individual ones. It's official (not fan made) and includes some additional dialouge and footage, like the word "indefinitely" after Tony says to Happy, "Now you have to look like me.", which also explains Happy's appearance in Far From Home. Besides this extended take on the NBA spots, I also added two more things that were missing from the timeline:

1. Rappin' with Captain America (more PSAs found on YouTube and the Blu Ray bonus features) Given his costume and other things, these have to have been filmed sometime around the time of the events of The Avengers. Much like the Cray Cray music video, I think this and the after credit PSA should go in the timeline where they were filmed in universe.

2. Midland Security Elevator B footage (fits in right after the 3rd episode of Defenders)

On the topic of The Punisher S2, has Nelson & Murdock (Nelson, Murdock and Page) returned by the events of the season?
https://marvelcinematicuniverse.fandom.com/wiki/Nelson,_Murdock_and_Page

Let me ask my question again, but this time, it makes sense.

Thor: The Dark World - Prelude is not after Guardians of the Galaxy prelude but in the simplified viewing order it is placed after.

Is there any real viewing purpose for this?

It should be after Marvel One Shot: Item 47 based on the detailed timeline.

Back to the topic of Punisher S2's timeline placement:

I think it most definitely has to be after Daredevil season 3. Karen obviously isn't working for the newspaper by that point but rather with "Nelson & Mordoch".

Once I get over this month-long head cold, I'll can see how much time passes between each episode to get an approximation of the month(s) season two takes place. I can't think straight right now....

I'm going a bit off topic here (sorta). So I was trying to get to the last page of this thread and accidently went to the last page of this forum section. I only joined this site because of DIrishB and his timelines, so I haven't seen much else. Anyway, I found these old threads from 2006. Before "I am Iron Man", before Marvel Studios as we know it. It's funny to look back at what people thought back then.

People were talking about stuff like, "There's too many Marvel movies", "I think Marvel should take a break from movies for a while, they are getting pretty stale."

Thomas Jane's Punisher just got a DVD directors cut, and this was the best Punisher ever! I mean, I do like the movie, but of course the Netflix version is superior now.

People were talking about a Nick Fury movie starring Bruce Willis. Some were saying that they can't use Samuel L. Jackson, because the movie isn't about Ultimate.

Deadpool movie rumors. This was before Origins, and people were STILL talking about Ryan Reynolds. That goes to show you something!

And there was a thread about upcoming "Marvel Studios" (as they called it) movies:

X-MEN 3: (Paraphrasing) "Going to the future...we are feverishly working on X-MEN! The cast is IN. We will shortly announce the director. This week was active, because everyone was in this week for Oscar. Our choices are very interesting. X-Men is a drama, and we want to get it right for X3. An announcement will come very soon!"

PUNISHER 2: A script is finished. They did bad in the box-office, because of KILL BILL 2, said Arad.

SUB MARINER: "It's STAR WARS, under water. It's our version of the TERMINATOR."

LUKE CAGE: They wanted Jamie Foxx for the project, before his Oscar win. Now he's not sure if they could get him, but said they might find "the next Jamie Foxx".

DAREDEVIL 2: "Daredevil's going to take a rest."

HULK 2: "Active development."

FANTASTIC FOUR: The "feel good movie of the Summer." There's supposed to be a presentation and premiere of new footage at the Showest Convention.

Pretty interesting to look back at 2006 from 2019 eyes. What do you guys think?

Sub Mariner = Star Wars/The Terminator? Really? For real?

If we know punisher is for sure before the current placement for Daredevil S3, we could move S3 back to it's original spot. Thats only if we have to since it's current placement is more plausible.

As of right now, I'm thinking of placing Punisher season 2 in early 2018, and Krista working with Billy for "months" could have been since mid-2017.
