That along with the December 2027 "completion" date on the construction plan in earlier set photos, which I assume is near by the start of the film, implies thats when the film is set.

Maybe Wonder Man is January/February 2028 since some footage showed snow as well, Vision Quest also might be Summer 2028.

They turned him into a mech in the Andrew movies and a hybrid animal in the anti-hero movies
At this point I just want this prop to be Rhino's cut off head some villain is carrying around to show just how evil they are
 
On inclusions of the MTU:
When people with high positions in Marvel Studios say something's not canon, it isn't unreasonable to assume they're correct. Due to AOS' lack of recognition, it's led to a few inconsistencies (eg the Darkhold being in AOS when it should be with Agatha). However, overall people in Marvel Studios have said a lot of contradictory things, so clearly nobody there knows the true canon of it. One of the few cases where you shouldn't take Word of God as fact, and instead shows like AOS, Inhumans and Runaways should be considered canon
