i watched the scene again and I'm pretty sure its the Italian woman saying that she was imprisoned for weeks not Soledad (The woman who was hiding the first mate of the northern star from the taskforce in her restaurant) so weeks from episode 1 or 2 (lets assume 2 as 3 weeks would be too long) works with it being mid-ish Oct 2027 by episode 6 so all good there.
Btw i just skimmed through the opening of thunderbolts and Val's impeachment is about her involvement with rumored human experiments to create a super powered human at Ox. Also Guata Lumpar is brought up as the lab that Yelena blows up wasn't that were the guns were supposed to go from the northern star according to Mr Charles.
100% sold on DD:BA S02 being completely set before the immediate events of the thunderbolts.

Sorry for asking, but what exactly is the reasoning for The Punisher: Season 2 being placed from Dec 2017-Jan 2018 instead of the more common placement of Spring 2018? Seems like that as/shole Connor Powell gets merc'd at the very start of episode 7, by someone unrevealed thus far, the blame is pinned on Karen for his murder; more-so to fuel Fisk's last ditch effort to 'legitimize" his crusade against vigilantes. Karen is in jail and now Matt has to be her lawyer to defend her against a rigged system.
So that's cool, even in death we still get hatred growing towards that smug AVTF piece of trash... Fisk might even paint the guy as a "hero".

The MCU wiki says "June 2003" but that's based on their objectively wrong take about Punisher S2 being May, that close to Infinity War.

Also, going off memory here, Frank's family died in 2015. Towards the start of Season 2 says that was "two years ago".
Right after the montage of Billy "being with his therapist" and robbing, several weeks pass. Now it's January 2018, right around the time you see that calendar and his crew gets mowed down. I think right after that we get mentions of 3 years ago. Correct me if I'm wrong.

PS: In 2x02, Powell say to Fisk (in October 8) that boxing fight is next week, which eventually is not, with 2x06 we learn that, for example, Soledad and Ariana stay in custody for weeks (they are held in October 7 and 8, respectively), let say they both stay two weeks in custody.
I think the boxing match was postponed for some reason to October 23, between October 8 and October 23 or Powell just got mistaken by the boxing match date.
So I think there is a two weeks time jump in 2x02, starting from Vanessa's nightmare unwards.
