Marvel Crossover Universe - Timeline

Honestly, I think the recent Godzilla crossovers fit into Earth-7642 better than the Predator crossovers. Tony definitely isn't dead because he's in the later Avengers crossover, Rick Jones died prior to the Hulk comic but his only appearance in 7642 is in the 1960s era, Hulk's identity is a secret in both, the contradictions to 616 don't contradict the crossover universe... I think they've got it backwards, but granted I could be wrong.
Nevermind, post-Secret Wars events contradict.

This mirrors Earth-616.

Peter loses his suit way earlier due to a fight with Godzilla, then Eddie Brock becomes a Godzilla-based Venom.

I mean, they might still fit, but it'd be a difficult timeline.

1. Events of Secret Wars occur.

2. Events of Godzilla vs Spider-Man occur soon after. Peter realises the symbiote is alive after losing it to Godzilla, but Spider-Man and Godzilla defeat the symbiote. The symbiote bonds with Eddie to become Godvenom.

3. Peter goes to Reed Richards for help defeating the symbiote (either because it rebonded with him or to defeat Godvenom), which works.

4. The symbiote escapes and bonds with Eddie once again, becoming a traditional Venom.

All the characters in Team X and Team 7 are somewhat immortal, so I actually think there's no reason to apply a sliding timeline to it.

Despite what the Marvel wiki says, it actually sounds like the Appendix is suggesting that Red Fever exists in Earth-616, Earth-Archie and Earth-7642, but the specific story seen in the comic is Earth-7642. Probably similar to how DC comics referenced Darkseid being trapped in the source wall after the X-Men/Teen Titans crossover and the criminal gangs from the Batman/Punisher comics, as well as a vague allusion to a vigilante with a name similar to Pulverizer. The events happened without the crossover elements I guess? Granted, I haven't seen the reference in the Women of Marvel: Celebrating Seven Decades book, perhaps that confirms that Punisher Meets Archie is fully Earth-616.

The New Avengers/Transformers is set before Civil War, apparently between the Breakout and Sentry arcs in The New Avengers comic line (so 2005, publication timeline). Fusion is set soon after Civil War (2006-2007).

Since the Appendix timeline lists Unholy Union and the other "Year 12" books before The New Avengers/Transformers, it actually works out fine to just place Fusion in Year 12 without any changes, I think. In other words, they're all set in 2007 under the context of IDW Transformers.

Oh, and of course, if the Godzilla vs Marvel stuff ends up not creating any substantial contradictions, Godzilla vs Avengers would likely fit between TNA/TT and Fusion.

https://godzilla.com/blogs/news/godzilla-vs-avengers-1-marvel-comicsFin Fang Foom is said to be dead in Godzilla vs Hulk, killed by a Kaiju destroyer, but is alive in Godzilla vs Avengers. I suppose he must have used his obscure possession power to survive.
Spiritual Possession: If Foom's body were to sustain injury beyond his natural ability to heal, his body will die but his spirit will remain as viable as ever and doesn't cross over into some form of afterlife. Foom's spirit can then possess the bodies of other beings, including humans. Foom can use these other bodies as hosts for a while before his energies wind up burning them out and killing them. However, what he typically does is somehow transform the body he inhabits into a copy of his original body possessing all of his various natural attributes. This ultimately explains Foom's reappearances despite having been witnessed being destroyed on multiple occasions.
Tony is in that comic, eliminating a contradiction with Earth-7642 regarding a secondhand account of his death in the late 1970s/Year 5 during Godzilla vs Hulk.

If the Betty and Veronica from Earth-Archie vs Predator try calling Frank Castle after Riverdale is attacked by Yautja in Earth-Archie vs Predator II, then I guess the first Archie crossover is set in Crossover Earth. Damn... I know I was talking about it, but I didn't actually know that there was a "Frank" thing at all. That's... yeah, well, I guess that confirms an Earth-7642 placement. It does make things feel a bit inconsistent to be honest, but... oh well I guess?

Does that mean Predator versus Wolverine isn't on Earth 7642?

I don't see how Godzilla vs Marvel relates to Predator versus Marvel, but on the topic of Predator versus Marvel:

1. The Appendix states this. Predator comics are fully licensed by Marvel.
1000016939.jpg

2. Black Panther gets his leg chopped off, which doesn't contradict anything yet necessarily, but Earth-7642 generally maintains the status quo. This is unlikely to be acknowledged in future crossovers.

3. Predator Kills the Marvel Universe is going to make it very difficult to fit them together.

4. This tweet suggests that it's not in-continuity with any other Marvel comics. Wouldn't actually stop it from being Earth-7642 if not for upcoming permanent character deaths.

I thought the Predator versus series was standalone
Nope, they're not. Predator Kills the Marvel Universe is going to reference the vibranium that was stolen in Predator versus Black Panther. It's been confirmed that Predator versus Spider-Man leads into Predator Kills the Marvel Universe too.

So Godzilla Raids Again happened in 1955...
1000016974.jpg

But Godzilla (1954) happened after Sliding Timeline Year 1? Agh, what the hell?
1000016961.jpg

Regardless, that still has to be sliding timeline-ed up. I guess you can still have it occur in 1955 though if you ignore the sliding years and base it on IDW.

I see that you're dealing with the Batman crossovers. If you Need help with that you can use the Batman chronology project.

Looking at this timeline makes me think about smt. What was Godzilla doing While Megs was conquering Earth?

Jeez can you Imagine Devastator vs. Godzilla?

Y'know, I don't think we've ever gotten to Godzilla/Transformers crossover, have we? That would kick ass if not.

I def agree. I mean maybe don't use combiners or Omega Supreme or any of the titans cos they could dwarf him.

But an average cybertronian could keep up with at least a half powered Godzilla.

Can you Imagine a 1% (it's the classification name of the MOST powerful cybertronias)?

Leave out Devastator, a Sixshot vs. Godzilla fight would be sick!

It depends on which Cybertronians and which Godzilla they decide to use. They just gotta choose the right match up that'd be balanced enough.

Honestly, I'd love if we could see Earth-7642 expanded so that we see the actual results on Marvel continuity of these combinations. Like, do a crossover with DC that explores different Marvel eras, like Secret Wars, Secret Invasion, World War Hulk, Civil War, etc., but show what changes due to the presence of one or more DC hero. Then, once that's done and you're not sharing with DC, swap over to another company and acknowledge the previous stories as canon but now it's a new Marvel/Transformers crossover, and you're exploring that combination, maybe with more modern stories like Civil War II or something.

It's infortunate that civil war came out in 2006, It could work well as a AHM aftermath.

Archie vs. Predator places itself in Spring Break 2015... uh, do I do the sliding timeline thing (2015 = Year 14)? I was assuming that I don't, since Archie characters don't age in real time and thus I need to minimise the distance between appearances. I guess it's a topical reference that needs to be ignored as with Pow! Biff! Pops! #1 setting itself in 1978 but it has to be post-1981 sliding timeline years... so, we just pretend that the 2015 date is whatever year that is the 10th Sliding Timeline year is?

Also according to Gerry Duggan, writer of Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe, it takes place in 616 and takes place after Godzilla 70's Marvel run

I think he might've also mentioned in the AMA that the one-shots could be read together but the one he wrote (Hulk vs Godzilla) is like the only one that causes continuity issues
