Help Support The Comic Board:

Also I do find the inclusion of the Puppet Master comics as odd for the Full Moon universe as those comics contradict the films a bit. I guess you could theoretically fit them in (perhaps explaining why the puppets killed Megan off screen in the 2nd film.) the ones taking place in the past have to mostly be ignored as the 3rd film sorta adapted it but a bit differently.

Guys just remember slight contradictions don't necessarily mean non-canon, it just means inconsistency. Doctor Who is one of the most inconsistent pieces of media OAT, yet technically has only one canon

Puppet Master has sweeping contradictions in the Malibu comics though. It blatantly contradicts a lot from the 3rd and 9th films. And the PM franchise in general is very consistent in it's canon outside of those comics. The more recent Action Labs comics specifically made the canon very consistent and tied everything together even the trading card information EXCEPT the old Malibu comics

Also contradicts the months and years for Toulon's death, the first film's events and the 2nd film's events iirc.

Earth-61384 is the designated reality for the Trancers/Puppet Master/ Subspecies/Dollman/Demonic Toys comics from Eternity Comics but that may not necessarily extend to the movies, especially if they contradict.

They also list the films as being canon on the website I believe. At least for Trancers. I guess I'm fine with considering them canon I just find the amount of contradictions really odd

Guess it's also fitting that Full Moon is part of the Marvel Multiverse since they did an homage comic to the "Blank kills the Marvel Universe" comic line

Last thing I will mention is that Disney Kingdoms includes the entire SEA saga correct? This would mean the Disney Parks version of the Marvel characters also belong to that Earth (I.e. Avengers Academy and W.E.B.) which is really cool because now we have an Earth number for Indiana Jones by proxy as well since he's also part of that continuity
What is SEA saga? Also how do the Marvel parks connect to the other parks?

For comparison, in Universal, the Marvel parks/rides connect to other parks through the Halloween Horror Nights event, but IDK if it is a multiverse situation.

SEA is the Society of Explorers and Adventurers. Basically all the main attractions of the Disney Park connects to that storyline explicitly, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, POTC, etc. Indiana Jones is part of it due to Jock Lindsey being a member, and at his hangar bar location there's a reference to Howard Stark which brings in presumably the Disney Parks version of the Avengers from Avengers Academy

We've got several new designations for external properties.

Earth-19860 - Trancers film series
Earth-52319 - Disney Kingdoms
Earth-58574 - Bendis' Powers
Earth-61384 - Full Moon Universe (Puppet Master, Dollman, Demonic Toys, etc.)
Earth-87245 - The Tales of Alvin Maker novel series
Earth-87641 - Orson Scott Card's Wyrms novel
Earth-90724 - Alien Nation
Earth-96424 - Resident Evil

Resident Evil had a prequel comic book from Marvel in 1996. In the 2000s, Marvel collaborated with Dabel Brothers Productions to publish adaptations of Orson Scott Card's works. Comics based on Alien Nation, Trancers, and Puppet Master were published by Malibu Comics, an independent publisher acquired by Marvel in 1994, which is why their realities were designated. Interestingly, the Full Moon Universe also includes the Doctor Mordrid film, which was originally developed as a Doctor Strange adaptation, meaning that it was indirectly integrated into the Marvel Multiverse thanks to Malibu's Puppet Master.
I actually emailed one of the Appendix editors asking about the Resident Evil prequel comic, so I'm glad to hear they gave that an Earth designation.

The Capcom universe from Marvel vs Capcom should also get a designation since that's different from the Marvel Earth. Or is that Earth-96424 (probably not)?

Capcom is weird. Some series are the same Earth some are not. And none of them are canon to MVC I think.

Like for example, Street Fighter, Final Fight, Captain Commando, Rival Schools, Forgotten Worlds, Strider (as well as it's pseudo sequels made by other companies) and Muscle Bomber/Slam Masters are all the same universe, Darkstalkers might also be part of it, but it's kinda unclear

Mega Man, Mega Man X, Mega Man Zero, Mega Man ZX and Mega Man Legends are also the same universe although MVC seems to treat MMZ as its own separate universe in Zero's MVC 3 ending.

Devil May Cry is the same universe as Okami and Viewtiful Joe due to Kamiya considering all of his games to be one universe, which also includes games he made at other companies like Bayonetta and Wonderful 101.

There's probably more I'm forgetting but yeah

Oh apparently 1136 is also the Protectors universe from Malibu? Weird that SF is part of that universe but sure

Malibu did a (canon) Mortal Kombat prequel comic series didn't they? Wonder if that'll get a number eventually

Also I still really hope to one day see a list of *every* non-Marvel IP that has an Earth number. The list keeps growing every month

Thank you

ALF (1987) (Earth-88131)
Well, I guess we have a designation for a hypothetical Muppets universe... though I wonder how that relates to My Singing Monsters multiverse lore...

probably the MSM connections are a separate multiverse that just so happens to also have ALF (through a looooong chain of crossovers) in it
