and as unlikely as Megaman is as even DLC, I've been reading rumors that it will be the megaman that was in the tatsunoko rendition which in my opinion, given the control scheme, was a crap character.


There needs to be some really cool DLC packs. personally I would love to see a small, 3-4 character pack. i.e.

Street Fighter Pack:
Ken
Sakura
Bison
Zangief/Alex(character already available)
IMO, you cannot have Ryu without Ken. It shouldn't be possible. Sakura has always been a fan fave since the alpha series which didn't get a whole lotta rep until SFIV came along. Bison as your classic baddy, he preceeds Akuma. and you gotta have a wrestler. Either one would do, but you got Haggar so it would really just be fanservice. I would have added Dudley since he's a boxer type and none have been displayed yet, but I didn't want to seem favoritist(?).

X-Men Pack!:
Cyclops
Cable/Iceman
Colossus/Armor
Danger
Gotta have the leader in Cyclops. I figure Cable or Iceman will be featured as returning characters. I don't think we'll be pampered with both. My money's on Iceman due to a comment made about Silver Surfer's exclusion b/c he was too similar to Iceman in appearance. Colossus or Armor? returning or brand new. I don't think women get enough love, except from me ;) I would personally love to see Armor. She'd be a better fit given the cast lunacy. And going with 1 villain per pack, I'd go with Danger since she's a recent villain, female in design and appearance and an all-around bad ass. also an after thought if Sentinel makes it to the starting cast, how awesome would it be if his ultimate special was the super mega sentinel that wiped out Genosha.

and since there are no representatives from these games or factions yet.
Power Crystal character (not familiar with them but my friends and you guys rave about them)
an Onimusha character
an Inhuman character (Blackbolt or his dog to counter Ameterasu)
Dr. Strange (good counter to Dormammu)

I'll stop being a fanboy now.

Problem is that the gamers in japan don't like Talbain. Though the games director does, he's got a shot.

It's probably just two at a time like Shuma and Jill. Anyway, i don't think Cyclops will be DLC, since the reason he isn't in is because Marvel didn't want him . They still have a say in DLC, so Scoot will probably still be left out.

Besides, i'd rather see some other Marvel guys.

And you can have Ryu without Ken. Sakura is alright, but those two will probably be in Street Fighter x Tekken and i'd also like to see characters from other Capcom games.

Having Ryu without Ken should be ILLEGAL! But you're right on most accounts. Those were just examples by the way, but you're probably right about pair-ups on DLC.

I understand where you're coming from, so no worries. I'll admit, i would like Urien as DLC if they add another SF character.

They also said they'd have other DLC aside from characters.

Man, just a few weeks, can't wait. :)

you know, you were the first UC friend I added and I still haven't played with/against you in any game. it's going down on Valentine's, sir.


EDIT: also, i'm surprised IGN hasn't reported on Sentinel/Hsien-Ko additions.
