'Multiple Mutant Factions'

I mentioned the fact that we've got characters such as Harddrive, Multiple Man, Vanisher, and Unus the Untouchable that have only gotten a cameo or an insignificant role in one of Magneto's master plans. Is it just me or do these characters need to be developed a little more?

I agree. I'd also love to see the return of Forge, and Sabretooth possibly still being alive would also be great. At least Sabretooth's surviving being beheaded makes sense due to the healing factor thing.

Exactly my reasoning...and wasn't it his foot that got blown away by the Sentinel, I don't remember him losing his hand (unless you mean in 616, of which I have no idea).
Yes, I was referring to 616.

Wolverine was chained up to a wall, and the only way to get loose was for his hand to come off. He did so, and put his hand back on, and a towel around it, and by the end of the issue, his hand was perfectly normal again.

And for the foot, that's a different story cuz it didnt come off. Just all of the skin and tissue and all that. Cuz he still had the foot, just the skeleton part. :D

True, but I don't see him losing the bone tissue as well as a real problem. I'm sure he'd have no problem growing back the bone as well. Though his bones are encased in adamantium so I don't know if its even possible to dismember him.

No, you cant cut off nothing as long as he has his adimantium on his skeleton. Since Sabes only had it for the claws, Wolvie was able to cut off his head.

I do hope for him to return as one of the mutant factions. That'd be great to see! :D

It was either U2 #3 or #4 where Tony gave Natasha the Black Widow armor as a present. So if Natasha is actually WEARING the armor in the issue, and it's not just one of those covers that looks good but has nothing to do with the issue, then it means that UXM is currently occurring (and possibly USM) a lot further in the future than our site timeline is currently pegging them at. And if USM is way back where we have it and UXM is way caught up with U2, then that might really prevent the Kitty/Peter relationship that people are talking about.

The events in the USM annual don't have to correspond with the current plot in the title.

It could work, conceivably.

Sabertooth should definitely survive. If Ross has made it, as well as Hammerhead, it would be silly to keep the one person that can actually heal themselves dead. That's my justification of his fate. Really, if he's dead that makes no sense standing next to Ross' revival.

Also, Forge is a character I forgot about. He's the guy who doubted Magneto and actually approached him about it... I think he'd be an interesting character to feel out a bit more. I definitely think Forge should come back. :) Awesome.

Abso-frickin'-lutely!!

Yeah, I found him very interesting despite the fact that he was hardly shown in the RoTK arc, but think whats been shown of him so far rightly deserves further exploration.

Yeah, forge certainly caught my interest. And you just know there's gonna be some weird Dazzler/Angel/Forge tension if he gets involved with the X-men again.

Its also possible he could play Beast's replacement and end up hooking up with Storm (as another wink to the 616 continuity). Though her ability to control lightning could prove disastrous to Forge's cybernetic limbs...

Only inasmuch that getting struck by lightning is nearly lethal to everyone :)

And i dunno about the storm relationship thing, she was only interesting while dating beast. Damn, why is she such a hard character to care about?

True, except Jason Statham.

Because everyone keeps thinking of her as Halle Berry's portrayal from the X-Men movies.

Nah, I don't, though that certainly didn't help her cause. She's been written by so many writers over the years and none of them has made a lasting impression on the character enough to make her cool. Guess it's the mumsy thing I was reading as a kid, no-one wants a superhero that's mumsy.

Oh, and as dazzler popped into my head a few posts ago, you think they're gonna introduce Jubilee and that other one that did little exploding things too eventually?
I personally don't see the point, dazzler has it all covered.

Guess we're going offtopic again.

If they do introduce Jubilee, I hope it isn't for a LONG while. And when they introduce her she should be above 18, and wear only a thong. Cuz 18 year old Asian chicks in thongs are hot. This simple post is over now.

Actually, asian chicks in thongs worry me, I've seen some specialist websites of thai 'girls' in thongs. Something about them makes me feel uneasy.
